If the Glass can be attached to other glasses, why not make a scouter like headset, then put the Glass on there? Or would that just not have the same effect?

Very yes; those things look pretty awesome, and I would actually like to live in a world where scouters were common parts of everyday life, coupled with arm-mounted computers replacing our smartphones.
In fact maybe the two could work together, with the scouter using augmented reality tech to render a screen in the eyepiece over where the "armtop PC" appears on the camera. So yeah, Google should probably try to get the rights from Toei Animation or whoever holds the rights nowadays, and design the Google Glass to look more like a scouter. 'cause how can you say no to something that cool-looking?
I still don't really know what this Glass thing is all about but for some reason I'm excited by the idea of being able to just 'wear' a computer and I will most likely be getting myself a pair even if they look 'stupid'.
Am I the only one who is fine with the current look? I mean the functionality of the device is lightyears ahead of its look, IMO
I still think people are going to yell "penis!" at people's google glasses to search things.

I know glasses can cost loads already but it is hard to judge the price of what people are wearing because glasses come in all shapes and sizes but with google glass in its current state everybody looking at you will know how much it is worth.
That and cities are full of people stealing things. In London I see people wearing their backpacks on their front instead so it is harder to be robbed.
Someone runs up to you grabs then off your face and disappears into a crowd of people and you just lost a lot of money. I may not live in a city but no way would I wear these if I did.
Or maybe I am just to paranoid of being robbed in a crowded place. But then again I still carry my expensive phone with me so who knows.

Get one of those headband things for glasses. Makes it harder to steal glasses, especially if the strap is on tightly.

i think they look fine ..non intrusive ..sleek more or less.
and you people want bloody scifi stuff that looks like it clamps on to half your face or big chunky metal things that would probably weigh so much it actually need to clamp to your face??
