If anything, it won't be by ticket, but by lottery. Candidates for this trip will probably require certain skills, personalities, and an overview of psychological status. Not to mention, the "Odd-Man" theory might play into candidate selection somehow. After all, this is going to most likely be a massive co-op community, where everyone will need to maintain the ship, and each other.
