Hmmm, metroid prime 2 got on there. I always thought 1 had the best atmosphere in the trilogy, but two is still good.

How did I know Team Fortress 2 would not be on this list? It's like this game is by far the least popular/well known/talked about Orange Box game and one of the few multiplayer online games with a large community that somehow no one IRL has heard of (yet they know what CSS is :psyduck:)

Dunno why Portal beat Half Life. Half-Life and Half-Life 2 revolutionized the gaming industry, both introducing amazing and immersive environments and had a very in depth story. Portal just took the puzzle element and put itself in the same universe. Oh, and a good story also, but if you look at Half-Life's story its much more in depth.

But Portal innovated - I think it was the first 1st person puzzle shooter - and its use of physics was awesome.

Why are like 5 zelda games in here? They're all very similar. I'm not saying I don't like them, but what's the point of having a lot of them? Anyways, I think video games definitely have the ability to be art, but still right now it's just a corporate industry. Much like photography was at it's roots, it's simply driven by money, and seen as entertainment, or useful, but not art. That doesn't mean it won't be art some day.
