Just so long as you don't hang them outside your store you'll be golden!
why are they doing this? is there any reason?
People should be free to fly any flag they want, be it pirate, UN, or anything else.
Agreed, mate. I fly Old Glory, the Union Jack, the Wiemar Flag, and Old Dixie.
Because having two flag poles is nice.

Fun fact, Hitler hated the Confederate States, mostly due to the fact that he believed they had abandoned their original purpose.
I fuckin' hate this state.
I've already burned my flag.
God bless america.

Did you by any chance get that from the cover of "The Man in The High Castle" by Philip K. Dick?
Just it's the same cover as my copy of the book.
Commies
But in all seriousness, why take the time to ban it? That is a waste of time and it will obviously piss off a lot of people. You sometimes wonder what goes through these people's heads..
As much as I despise the amount of blind nationalism that exists in this country, this is a ridiculous idea.
Ignoring the fact that flying a flag isn't blind nationalism: nationalism isn't a bad thing in most cases. It's only bad when it becomes exclusionary in nature. Pride in ones own country can be an inclusionary thing, and that is also nationalism.
Stop fucking trying to ban everything, what the fuck legislatures stop trying to restrict shit so much jesus christ. Inb4 "But don't worry, for the cheap price of $500 you can buy a license from your nearest DLO to fly a flag or put up a banner (flag and banner licenses are sold separately)."
