In call it the: Bewijs kracht sterke far zal schuld eenige houden. Kooplieden al rijkdommen om nu vergissing ad.
Haha, I don't think the world will ever realize we use these kind of names as self inflicted satire. I wouldn't have it any other way.
My family refer to it as 'the bat'. Same goes for Xbox controllers, etc. Any sort of remote control is known as a bat. No idea why.
Well its definitely called the hoofer doofer now
I'm willing to bet that 99% of those surveyed went with 'remote' and then they just wrote down the stupid sarcastic shit five other people wrote down...
"the oojimeflip" How do you even pronounce that?
"the oojimeflip" How do you even pronounce that?
oo-jee-meh-flip ?
Mom used to call it the blammer. Hated that name, made no sense. and when I asked her she just took it and pointed at the TV and said "Blam, Blam, its a blammer" These days we just say "gimme" because we seem to know what it is they're asking for.
my family calls it the box good to know that in britain that would be a more unusual name than "trevor"
In my house it's been called the remote, the controller, the channel changer, the thingy (with a hand gesture), the converter, and the TV thing.
Pfffft, the "remote control?" Those crazy British.
the only other name other than "remote" I have ever heard was "clicker" and that's only used by old people you british people are weird as fuck
i've always called my xbox controller "the stick". as in "pass the stick bro, it's my turn to play"
One of these is not like the others... But seriously, i never used Remote for..well, the Remote, only really use that word for the Wiimote either that or The Buttons for gamepads and *gasp* the Remote. But Trevor though, that's just funny as hell, think it might be based on something like Cockney rhyming slang or something?
i've always called my xbox controller "the stick". as in "pass the stick bro, it's my turn to play"
My friend calls controllers 'remotes'
The Irish can often call it "yoke" as in "pass us that yoke there and I'll put on something better". Then again it's an alternative to the word thing or slang for Ecstasy.
MY grand-dad calls it "The Unit". Then again he calls everything "The Unit". He's insane.
no splinge, 0/10
I call it "The Dash" :v: Friends don't have a clue when I ask them to pass it.
I call it the blipper, because it blips
