"Let’s face it – the next GTA game, rumours of which currently have consoleland all a-flutter, ever arriving on PC is pretty unlikely." ummm, what? I did not read or hear any rumors of that at all
SA was the best, let me know when that map has been ported.
Can't wait for rockstar to send a cease and desist letter. Or somehow do something for us to enjoy their games even less.
That is simply not going to happen. People have been porting cities from one GTA games to other ones for a long time and Rockstar didn't do anything about any of that.
Everyone seems to really like Vice City. Why is it more popular than San Andreas?
Everyone seems to really like Vice City. Why is it more popular than San Andreas?
cuz i h8 gangsterz
Everyone seems to really like Vice City. Why is it more popular than San Andreas?
Vice City was miles ahead of San Andreas in terms of overall feeling and atmosphere. The 80's Miami vibe in it just made the whole city feel really awesome, as it captured it really well based on movies like Scarface or Miami Vice. In San Andreas, neither of the 3 cities had anything like that. They all just felt the same and there weren't really anything special about them.

Good job there's no real proof it's set in SA, as knowing R* GTAV will have people from all over (which is why some of the leaked info mentions San Andreas.)
According to the rumours GTA V is going to be set in San Andreas.
I loved San Andreas, put countless of hours into that game.
Everyone seems to really like Vice City. Why is it more popular than San Andreas?
Vice City had way better atmosphere, music and characters than San Andreas. I doubt it's more popular, but it should be. Not saying SA is bad, but I love VC more.
IV had the best music. Fuck that retro shit. [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] Though that single Jackson song was groovy.
I loved San Andreas, put countless of hours into that game.
So did i, but GTASA was just pushing renderware as far as it could possibly go. GTAIII and GTAVC will always be the "real" GTAs to me, i thought of SA as more of a final hoorah before they moved on to their next engine and dumped renderware entirely. I also love the atmosphere of VC. Ballad of Gay Tony sort of felt like a vice city game, if you squinted your eyes and forgot you were in New York. Still not vice city though.
Fuck that retro shit.
Well, you just have to live in a fire someplace.
God, I'm tired of VC "remakes"? I'd love to see SA in the GTA IV engine. I think I'm the only one who didn't care for VC.

But is there a fan made San Andreas remake being made? If so, then I will be interested. VC wasn't exactly my favorite GTA. Kind of felt like a GTA3 reskin.
VC is actually the most different GTA there is. Edit: Missions are basically based on buying businesses and then working on them, making a profit and taking over the city, then getting betrayed and finding revenge. Other GTAs have you running errands, getting betrayed and finding revenge.
I think I'm the only one who didn't care for VC.
yes you are it's a better scarface game than the official scarface game
after watching the first season of miami vice, I think its time to boot up old vice city again.
I was actually expecting R* to be releasing another "Episode" for GTA IV that puts us back in Vice City :v:
Remember that it wouldn't be cool because we are in the modern times now.
Well I meant it as more of a revisiting of the 80's Vice City in the IV engine.
I actually liked the story in GTA:SA better. Never cared much for the story in VC. I don't see what's so orgasmic. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it but once SA came it, it stop caring for it.
w.t.f.

Some one needs to go over to Rockstar HQ and punch Sam Houser in the face
Oh come on, GTA 1 was originally just for PC. Now GTA won't even be released for it :(
Many games start out like that.
Like good ole' Metal Gear It went from PC exclusive all the way down To PS3 exclusive
