personally, i like san andras more than vice city, mostly because its bigger and there is planes and hick-vill
Now I will have to reinstall it.
GTASA barely had a story, the only hint of a story was the whole "your homies betray you oh no" thing, while the rest was just moving from on random person to another and doing random jobs for them.
That sounds like GTA IV too. "oh no dis gai killed ur friends go find speshul sum1, oh wtf bulgarin well who cares thats for TBOGT, oh double wtf get jimmy" and moving to random person to random person to get this Darko guy. Rockstar has been doing this same revenge story for all their games. RDR was the same thing too.

There are multiple dimensions beside just the revenge story in IV, at the end of the story [sp]you aren't even sure you want to kill the guy anymore[/sp]. GTA:SA has a decent story, not the best, not my favorite environment, but the best part of the game by far was the amount of features they provided. Planes, boats, giant map, drive-by, etc. It was all good fun but the strong part of SA was never it's story (or even it's atmosphere).
Vice City had way better atmosphere, music and characters than San Andreas. I doubt it's more popular, but it should be. Not saying SA is bad, but I love VC more.
The music, the intro and who could forget the first ride in the beginning of the game. It just completely set everything up, and it was fucking wonderful. I'm gonna go play Vice City again and tell Vance he can go dance.
That second video was so hilariously broken.
GTA:IV was a little more complex than that.
No it actually wasn't. Sure it was dark but it was just another GTA revenge story. This time it was just taking itself REALLY seriously.
GTA: IV had the best story and GTA: VC had the best atmosphere and music. I want Rockstar to mix both of these games for the next GTA game.
