We are running in circles here, because you define a man by feeling like a man. It's like saying green is the color of green. Do you want to say "if you are feeling like a traditional image of a man" ?
What is a "man" to you? Because you're going to find a great deal of different definitions if you go the traditional route.
I've never seen the word used to refer to average people outside of tumblr, and half the time their usage of it is derogatory.
"I've never seen it" is a terrible argument unless you're planning to apologize.
The concept of biological sex is also a social construct, like gender is.
er what
it isn't an illness. all fetuses start out as a female but there is a roughly 50% chance that the fetus will change into a boy, this is why men have nipples. But sometimes this change process fucks up and the body changes but the brain doesn't or vice versa.
Sex is determined at the moment of conception by whether you have an XX chromosome pair or an XY chromosome pair. There is no change. Nipples (and majority of your genetic code) are in the other 22 chromosome pairs, which is why both males and females have them. Now, male and female brains have some distinct differences, and studies suggest that a trans person's brain frequently resembles that of the opposite sex to a certain extent. Neither a male or a female brain, somewhere between the two. But the differences between male and female brains are a result of the different hormones for each sex and these differences start to appear very early (in the womb). So the likely cause for being trans would be hormones malfunctioning (or at least not functioning normally), possibly at a very early developmental stage. That's the simple bit (although further research would be helpful). The tricky part is then figuring out which parts of "gender" are social constructs, and which parts are actually the results of the differences between male and female brains. All we can really say at this stage is that some people with "trans" brains are happier living and identifying as the gender opposite to their sex. Fine by me (not that it really matters) since I believe people should have freedom in matters that primarily or solely effects themselves.
What is a "man" to you? Because you're going to find a great deal of different definitions if you go the traditional route.
For me, a safe bet would be... if you have male parts and you want to put those in female parts :v: Every other physical or behavioral characteristic is basically unisex, unigender or whatever. I apologize if I offended someone, it's not my intention.
if you have male parts and you want to put those in female parts :v:
gay people exist maybe i think

I don't think I have to go through SRS to be considered a woman, at least for myself. Every trans person is different in that regard.
Because of the sheer amount of SJW in here. (User was banned for this post ("Shitposting / Trolling" - Swebonny))
What is a "man" to you? Because you're going to find a great deal of different definitions if you go the traditional route.
A miserable pile of secrets.

Get the fuck out.
Outdated, bigoted beliefs aren't an opinion, they're a blight Stop defending transphobes
You know what'll be great? I'll be able to look at the tears you're fighting back, in glorious 16K resolution. "Ha," I shall comment on your feed, "Ha ha ha". That's fine. That happens with every generation. As of right now, the unacceptable belief that trans people are freaks and should be forced to exist in a living hell being in the wrong body is disgusting, wrong, and people who believe that should be either convinced they're wrong, or shunned. It's nearly 2015. We have cybernetic limbs, self-driving cars, touch screen devices, we live in the future. Bigotry is absolutely unacceptable in any form.
are you arguing or just upset people don't love your bigotry?
lol I am trans, I've just seen too much of people demanding that those who disagree with them go away. It seems like people think that's how a civil society should be run, and I just wonder if they realise that when they do things it sets a precedent for their enemies to do the same to them. I mean, I'm a member of UKIP and when I see the various protests against them I can't help but think "what if a bunch of nationalists started to get organised and shout all the way through Nick Clegg's or Ed Milliband's speeches as anti-British and abused people who went to see them?" But it's ten past 4 on Christmas morning so I'm going to bed and see if I can wake up in a good mood. [isn't it interesting how the same two letters make different sounds there?]

[editline]25th December 2014[/editline]
I wish my parents respected my exploration of identity at 3. I'd be a T-Rex right now. Or at least some sort of wild man living on an island off of Costa Rica. Of course that's not realistic... Unlike a name change, style changes, label changes, medical programs if needed. Maybe if I was born in the right future period, I'd be offered a solution. My 3 year old mind would be put into a computer simulation of a Cretaceous period fantasy land. I would have been happiest then (I don't know what tense to use... future/past?). I would have chosen a life like that in heartbeat. Of course I'd be only 3. But if I'm going to become a dinosaur till my minds end... it'd probably be best done early in life.
"Born female" is kinda inaccurate. You're only "born" male or female in the sense of sex. In the sense of gender though, you're a genderless blob, one who can't even comprehend the idea of gender, until someone puts pink or blue clothes on you.
Uh no you're either born male or female. You're not born male thinking he's a female or female thinking he's male or grass-kin or whatever seems to be the craze nowadays that usually comes later when you discover tumblr or when you actually feel that way in your teens.

Otherkin are a crazy tumblr subculture, trans people have been documented in history for centuries across multiple cultures.
I don't get why we need all these dumb names for things or why we care about some 3 year old wanting to have a name that's not retarded. Why does who you prefer to bone or what you wear even matter. Do we even need to call people trans? It's all just dumb to me because it seems like a none issue that gets blown up by people who want to feel self righteous about something. Like does it matter what other people think they are? It all seems like a fantasy to me. I think that if someone wants to be considered a girl or boy by other people they should go through with surgery otherwise I don't see why people need to make a big deal about it.
it's funny how the bigots are always the ones that refer to transpeople as "it"
Why are you calling me a bigot? I literally just said I support her/he, I said "it's" ironically because the post i was replying to said that. Fuck off kindly. All I said was I don't understand why it has to be a big thing and I'm all for it. But go ahead and use SJW FMJ rounds and call me a bigot lol.
it's funny how the bigots are always the ones that refer to transpeople as "it"
Yeah because they usually freak out if you get whatever they want to be called wrong.
