My gods are cooler and more real than yours.
well it's pretty much impossible to argue with you because you'll readily assert what you believe is the most true, undeniable thing there is in regards to this topic disregarding any other arguments saying such things as
meaning not only do you not have any plans or intentions of ever being able to be convinced of anything you'll actively go out of your way to say people who disagree with you are wrong and ignorant of your truth.
I'll openly consider any options that do not blatantly support degenerate behaviour and further the decline of Western culture.
I'll openly consider any options that do not blatantly support degenerate behaviour and further the decline of Western culture.
It's only a decline because you don't like it.
I'll openly consider any options that do not blatantly support degenerate behaviour and further the decline of Western culture.
why's it degenerate behavior wtf
I'll openly consider any options that do not blatantly support degenerate behaviour and further the decline of Western culture.
Decline of Western culture? You can't be serious
What do you know about being Christ-like?
Jesus stood up for and cared for the most wretched dregs of society, because they're people too that deserve compassion and respect just as much as anyone else does, but still christians find a way to rationalize being shit to people that need help the most. It's also about being kind to, helping, and loving people no matter no matter who they are or what they've done.
I know for damn sure that letting less-well-off people die so that they can promote a warning to the rest of society of what happens when they're too weak to resist addiction is one of the least compassionate things a person can do for them.
I may not be christian, but oddly enough my moral compass is similar to what a lot of them claim to follow, and I can confirm that a lot of people don't actually follow through on their claims.
[editline]15th June 2015[/editline]
And good, I hope Western culture collapses and something better rises in its place. There's a lot I could rant about how overly selfish and individualistic western society is.
Facing a mob about to execute a drug junkie, Jesus proclaimed: "Anyone who has no weed in their life should step forward and cast the first stone"

He also judged people for their misdeeds and did not hesitate to destroy merchant's stocks for desecrating the synagogue. Christ's forgiveness is for the repentant alone, it isn't you twisted pathological altruism.

So therefore we should invest people's hard earned money into helping criminals commit even more criminal offences? What about the less-well-off people whose tax dollars are being wasted on these initiatives? An ends-justify-the-means outlook is not helpful in this situation.
I may not be christian, but oddly enough my moral compass is similar to what a lot of them claim to follow, and I can confirm that a lot of people don't actually follow through on their claims.
Your moral compass is more similar to left-wing egalitarianism than it is to Christianity.
And good, I hope Western culture collapses and something better rises in its place. There's a lot I could rant about how overly selfish and individualistic western society is.
Actually I would consider individualism to be one of the modern influences destroying Western culture, however the fact that you are happy to see the West's decline is indicative of you hatred for Christian values.
So therefore we should invest people's hard earned money into helping criminals commit even more criminal offences?
You think people who do drugs should be considered criminals?
I'll openly consider any options that do not blatantly support degenerate behaviour and further the decline of Western culture.
Those are entirely things you're arbitrarily deciding upon yourself and you're acting as a moral arbiter for all of us.
What gives you the right?
I'll openly consider any options that do not blatantly support degenerate behaviour and further the decline of Western culture.
I can't stop laughing at how stupid and needlessly persecutory this sounds hahaha
I personally, would love to see how bigfatworm stood up to a 1920's prohibitionist who used their religious reasoning to ban alcohol.
He would be a criminal/considered wrong by his own group for the most part.
Are we going to address the fact that maybe a lot of people are addicted because they made a stupid decision too?
Noone ever decides to get addicted.
They decide to do drugs but noone ever gets up one day and thinks, "you know what, Ima start shooting up heroin every day"
You will also find that a lot of people aren't stupid when they get addicted they just didnt care at one point of their life, trying to escape their own personal hell and ended up in a worse one.

I would naturally oppose them as prohibition was a product of modern feminism and broader leftist ideology, however I would also respect the hierarchy of civilization and do my best to follow the law where it would not contradict my faith.
do my best to follow the law where it would not contradict my faith.
So wait, your alcoholism is part of your faith?
You haven't made good choices, man.

oh you are just a barrel of laughs aren't you

So you cite your faith as the reason why people should be denied helpful resources that limit harm? Whatever happened to "love your neighbour"?
So you cite your faith as the reason why people should be denied helpful resources that limit harm? Whatever happened to "love your neighbour"?
As with all faith, he's merely cherry-picking the principles that suit his preconceived notions of what it means to be right.
I know that Christ isn't the happy all forgiving sky daddy you people are so ready to portray him as.
You're correct he's actually a dead man who lived around 2000 years ago (or maybe not even at all) and a piss-poor moral compass for 2015
[editline]16th June 2015[/editline]
Seriously if you think 2000 year old morals are applicable to modern life then do the world a favour and adopt 2000 year old hygiene standards as well
