BF3 doesn't support XP. :frown:
That OS is extremely old and should no longer be used by anybody with a brain anyways.

To be fair XP has practically been on life support since the release of windows 7.
I never really liked this series, and I don't plan to buy this game either.
However I must say that the guys who enjoy this game, seem to be in luck for having received a rather nice set of developers.
This and the new showoff of the Unreal engine sure as shit changed the "x platform is dying" bullshit right around. Reality just hit the consoles like a ton of bricks. Sony's being a giant kid right now and the Xbox is playing the last notes on the fiddle when it comes to keeping up with technological advances.
[sp]Consoels r teh dying![/sp]

Actually, Life support has been cut already, hasn't it?
People have been saying "PC gaming is dying" for decades. Anyone who actually believes it has no idea what they're talking about.
I feel like buying 3 copies of Battlefield now. Fucking love DICE, best EA developer around.
That video with the jets at the end blew my mind.
I need to get a better PC now :argh:
I don't know why did they even say that PC gaming was dying.
All I see is consoles killing the industry and technological progress of gaming at the same time they get cracked.
I hope this game has improved netcode and is more like BF2 than BC2. If that all comes into play, I'll certainly be anxious for this game.
I wish DICE wasn't owned by EA though
I remember when map packs were free... I really wish DICE would preserve that with BF3. PC games used to be special to me since I never had to buy a damn map pack.
...but that will never happen. EA likes money too much.
"PC gaming is dying" gets thrown around every single time a new generation of consoles come out. A couple of years later and it's all forgotten again.
Also look at the numbers of subscriptions WoW has and tell me PC gaming is dead with a straight face.
Console fanboys probably would tell you that with a straight face. Well as straight as they can get it, since their "straight face" probably has the mouth open at one end with saliva dripping out.
I wish DICE wasn't owned by EA though
I like EA.
Actually, Life support has been cut already, hasn't it?
Yeah and now the bugger is just twitching there in it's last few breaths. It'll die out within a year or two as more and more games require 7. It's hilarious to see people trying to defend XP and not upgrade to 7.
Yeah it's a substantial sum of money, but save up a little and you get so much more.

Rather EA than Activision
Rather EA than Activision
I for one would enjoy BF7 next year
Okay, well why wont you just fuck up my spoiler too?
Ok, I will.
[.sp] not that I wasn't, this game is fucking beautiful[/sp]
Yep, I agree as well, it's fucking beautiful.
Satisfied little Mrs. Poutypants?

Map packs in bc 2 were free. I hope they stick to that in bf3
I thought the picture was real for a second there.
Uncanny Valley successfully avoided. :v:
Ea sucks so much that they ruined the c&c series!
Looking forward to this game .
Remember, EA specifically said that they are going to leave DICE alone on the development of BF3. So no influence from EA, it's all up to DICE for this one.
People who thought this image was real/live action really need to fix their eyes.
Except for soldier's face, nothing looks remotely real. Sure it looks good, but not real.
How could they say otherwise? PC Gaming made Battlefield what it is, 1942, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons, Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Its expansions, 2142, Its expansions, THEN Bad Company
This coming from the company that tried to make Bad Company 2 look like the saviour of PC gaming by saying it'd include dedicated servers (but no modding or mapmaking), only to turn around and do EXACTLY what Activision did with Black Ops (no deidcated server binaries, no modding, servers can only be "leased" by authorised companies).
BC3 had better have modding abilities. I can't stand the fact that BC2 only has, what, ten maps?

The way my page loaded all I saw was sky and the face so I had to do a double take.

The only complaint I have about the servers and shit with BC2 is all the pings are what EA's master server get to the server, and then that's displayed to me, which makes it abso-fucking-lutely pointless
Oh a 40 ping! *Loads up* 197. Great
I'm certainly not going to buy it for 60$ but I'll surely pick it up once it's something like 30 or 40$.
Unless there's some kind of pre-order 10% off on Steam :3:
