Battlefield 3 looks visually impressive but I don't see anything new in gameplay.
I wish rappers would talk about equipping their tour buses with computers that run Crysis.

I don't think graphics cards become obsolete that quick.
The first thing I looked at was the soldiers face, I thought it was a photo. Took me a second to realize it wasn't.
I think there'll be a resurgence of pc gaming. There was also talk about how the new unreal engine is meant for the next generation of consoles and stuff. The next generation of consoles is far away and people will come back to the good ol pc.

You realize that a PS3 is about as capable graphics wise as a 8800gtx. You can lower setting on a computer, and still have it look better than with a console. Consoles lack AA, games load slower, etc.
Going from memory, I know that you can get a 9800gtx+ for around $90, which is better than a 8800gtx.

You have to upgrade a pc every 2 months? someone didn't give me that message because mine is 3 years old and I had no problem playing any games. You don't realize that with a pc you have the option to upgrade. It doesn't mean you have to but the option is out there. You don't have to upgrade your pc for at least 7 years and when you do its only about a 100$.

Which is good, because the only thing BF2 needed was fixes and some visual improvement.
Other than that gameplay was perfect

Not even an 8800GTX, the PS3's GPU is based on the 7800GTX which is alot worse.
PC gaming is so far from dead. It's funny how someone could even think it was dead.

keep in mind it has insane physics capabilities.

But you will admit that even though the pc community is filled with modders and more devoted people quantity is what pushes sells not quality of the the players.
PC gaming will never die but developers will want to focus on consoles as well as PC, because they are guaranteed much more sales developing for that platform.
Some of you are far too easily swayed when a developer makes a statement on something, you will most likely be disappointed.

You know I just realized that the only reason these photos tell me they aren't real (or at least the first reason that's always there) is the lack of true depth perception in the photo. My mind goes "it's too flat" or "depth doesn't add up right" before I can even go "is this real?". I'm loving graphics these days.
As nice as this is, don't forget how Crytek claimed to be a PC-first developer and then released this PC demo:
