The cost of the robot probably comes from how much it cost to develop it. Those things must have been put through all kinds of different trials for years before being certified to be put out into the field, that R&D doesn't come cheap. The price is set high so the manufacturer can make enough profit to cover those costs.

You know what's always amazed me? We have great camera technology today. How come Dash Cams, security cams, and the cameras on this little bot suck so bad... Is there a universal rule that picture quality on these things cannot be of certain quality? Come on that Robot cost $65,000... Why not spend an extra 300 on a decent fucking camera
