Also I want to point out that even though it's long gone, I'm impressed by how many people wanted the Eagles to beat the Saints, even for purely pragmatic reasons. Usually people hate the Eagles. If the Eagles won the Superbowl, all the major news networks would be writing the headline "Patriots Lose Superbowl!" because the major news networks absolutely hate Philadelphia.

Just found out I can just shell out $5 to watch it live and make the flight bearable. The plane is coming from Denver and then we're going to take it to San Diego if that's foreshadowing anything.

tbh I haven't followed the Pats or any New England team for a while like I used to. I used to watch the Pats and Celts enough to know just how good or bad a team they were, but now I'm pretty lost. Kinda lost interest in favor of other sports like MMA and motorsport like F1 and sports car series.
Really don't know how realistic of a chance they have this season but I'll stay optimistic and say as good of a chance as any team. Even if the Pats lose the Super Bowl, as long as it's not in the same fashion as when they lost to the Giants during their perfect season, then I'll be satisfied.
