Toxx Clause Thread: The NFL 2014 Superbowl XLVII - Seattle Seahawks Win the Super Bowl: 43 - 8 point

I wasn't expecting the 49ers to do this well.
Seahawks win!!!
Did you see that clear possession the 49er's had when the Seahawks guy got the ball stripped, then they fell on the guy with the ball snapping his knee like a twig. Refs came in and ruled it Seahawks ball when it clearly wasn't but it was a "Non Reviewable" play (For whatever bullshit reason). The very next play, which was 4th down, the Seahawks fumbled it again.
Anyone else think they fumbled it on purpose because of the clearly and hugely bullshit call + the guy's knee being destroyed? That was a bad break, too. Guy was screaming bloody murder before he even hit the ground
I'll be rooting for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. They have the same task NE had, use your RB to control the time of possession and the game is yours. Lynch is a beast though, so they have the tools to make it happen.
I'll be rooting Broncos but I have no strong feelings either way. Two for three isn't bad.

Seahawks
Everyone else.
And screaming was heard from my living room, screams of pain.

FUCK 'EM UP BRONCOS
stoner bowl 2014. Both states that legalized weed go to the superbowl. Coincidence, I think not.
As a Seahawks fan, I'm not gonna lie, I don't blame any 49ers fans for being very angry at this. The Seahawks got really lucky with a lot of the calls (especially that running/roughing the punter thing, which set up their touchdown that got them in the lead), and the 49ers just got very unlucky. If it wasn't for the calls, I would say the 49ers would've had it in the bag.
Buuut, that said, let's go Seahawks! Time to go up to the Super Bowl woooo

I don't think they would have fumbled it on purpose, I mean it's the conference finals after all. Still though, I was kinda glad it happened because the 49ers definitely deserved the ball on that play.
Why am I under the dead posters list?
Nevermind yay :)
Mother fuckin seahawks. Couldn't watch the game here at work, but they got it playing on the radio.
Configuring your 9-month ban now. Expect it within the next 15 minutes.
IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET, AND THE GODDAMN SUSPENSE IS KILLING MY SOUL!
As Diabetus puts it "Today is clearly a victory for legal weed"
Gonna be an interesting superbowl, SEAHAWKS
Do you guys think Gabe cares about Football?
Ohhhhh man! Go Seahawwwwwwwks!!!
Also, anyone noticed the tad bit of tension between Crabtree and Sherman?
Crybaby Harbaugh must feel pretty shitty right now considering all the negative shit he said about Sherman while they were at Stanford.
Feel bad for San Fran and their fans though, some of those calls were iffy. Never want to blame a loss on officiating but those calls hurt em bad.
You mean when he patted him on the ass, then got his face shoved for it? And then Sherman signalling that Crabtree choked on the last play resulting in their loss after the shove?
Nope, no tension there!

I saw that, it seemed vitriolic.

Sherman sounded really really at him angry during the post-game interview, and he trash talks him.

I don't know how to feel about that, it made the end of the game feel bittersweet to me

that was fucking hilarious
what actually happened to cause that?

Sherman swatted away the ball from Crabtree in the endzone, which allowed Smith to intercept the ball and led to Seattle winning the game... then

And then he got flagged for misconduct which didn't really mater because there was only 22 seconds left and Seattle had possession
i'm glad the forty-whiners lost but sherman is a fucking dickhead.
I think it went back a little further before the hand to helmet mask. Apparently Crabtree has been giving Sherman a lot of shit throughout the game
Even if Crabtree was talking trash all game, the play Sherman made was all the answer that was needed, it ended the game with a win. He shows no class making that choke gesture and getting in Crabtree's face. Winning is the best revenge, you don't need to ruin it by acting like a dumb kid.
Went into the city for the game. A 49er fan at the sports bar literally started crying after they lost. He had his face in his hands and slumped against the bar at the 10 second mark.
Haw haw haw(ks)
People on reddit are saying the refs cheated and let the Seahawks win
I mean yes the refs made bad calls, but those turnovers in the 4th quarter lost it for them more in my opinion.
But I do hope the player who injured his leg makes a full recovery because that was horrible to watch over and over again.
Was a good game, fewer penalties than I was expecting so that's nice
Well my night ended with receiving a blowjob from my girly friend, and I was too busy being drunk and eating a bomb ass stake and cheese and pizza to give any real shit about the Pats loss, so I'd say not a bad day.

I bet they're using that fumble that wasn't reviewable as an example.

There were times where the refs placed the ball wildly far away from where the player was brought down, for both teams. I recall a play where the Seahawks receiver went down 2 yards short of the conversion, and the ref placed the ball beyond the line. They must have been fuckin cross-eyed, based on how oblivious they were to the game.
I didn't even notice that.
