Couldn't gravity be some kind of monopole which attracts most things?
We've never found one, but these guys created something which behaves like it inside a material.
so does this mean Monopoles could exist naturally or is this the possible limit?

What game is that?

A massive particle is a monopole with respect to gravity, and it must be since as far as we've discovered gravity is always attractive.

Well that's a pretty interesting way to look at it.
Well that's a pretty interesting way to look at it.
It's not really a way I looked at it until the question was posed. It's an interesting question, but yeah, the magnetic field lines of a magnetic monopole look like the electric field lines of a point charge, as do the field lines of a gravitational point mass.
Does this mean that mean we are closer to creating hover cars by using quantum trapping with super conductors with these new magnets? (I don't know much about this stuff D:)

Not really. Not until we discover room temperature superconductors. ("High temperature" in this context essentially means we can make them superconduct at liquid nitrogen temperature)
What game is that?
alpha centauri, play it at once, no I'm not biased why do you ask
what is it with you niggas and hovercars, hovercars would be shit in almost every way
How? If they could truly hover in place and they had comparable amounts of range they would be better in almost every way, they would almost eliminate congestion and would also generally be able to take a more direct route to the destination, what downsides would a practically applicable hover car (or flying car I guess) have?
to make a hover car you'd need either vast amounts of power to create thrust or all the roads everywhere have to be magnetized so you can slap monopoles on it
it's impractical and ridiculous
Don't you know shit bout magnets

there's a reason pilot licences exist
