Has capital punishment and a inflated prison population. I wouldn't speak so quickly if I was you. also next time you talk about how easy it is to get arrested, look at this graph first http://www.paecon.net/PAEReview/issue40/SchmittZipper40_files/image012.gif or if you like comparisons to Russia: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d3/Prisoner_population_rate_world_2012_map.png/800px-Prisoner_population_rate_world_2012_map.png
Well, kids today deffo need some sorting out. I can't tell how good this is though, or if it's shit. I hope they figure out a way though.
I agree. They should take children from their parents at birth and raise them in camps where they can be educated properly to understand their duty and obligation to the state and its leaders.

And the US's government has done some pretty terrible things as well, as Arfrika noted.
Fuck this shithole of a country.
We already have people whose job it is to get kids to behave they're called parents
Parents aren't infallible beings. As with any job, people can fail at being a parent. What are you supposed to do when that happens? Let their kids be raised with their failure of a parent only to follow in their footsteps? And when it becomes such a widespread issue, then what?
What the fuck are british politicians humans or reptile brains in big jars that randomly select words in order to make laws?
Nah, they bought a power-ball machine and assign the numbers and letters to random legal words.

America isn't one of them, with your track record of appalling human rights and infringements. More of a ~police state~ than the UK would ever be.

He's now going through med school to be a doctor. Why do you state it as if all people with shit parents are going to become shit people? Your parents aren't the only contributing factor to who you grow up to be mate.

To be fair there are some really awful council estates in this country where local residents do genuinely live in fear of some of the anti-social groups and something does need to be done about them. Yes it can be abused but it has good intentions.

This is like denying that there's a problem with poverty in the third world because some people get out and manage to make a life for themselves. For every one success story, there's a thousand ones that end in misery for all involved.
Man, I hope they don't discriminate people with skateboards even more, I can remember getting kicked out my local shopping centre for carrying my board with me (I knew I couldn't ride it in there). What they really need to do is sort out the shits that go round on scooters, I see some kid get on my bus every day and rides the scooter down the fucking isle yet doesn't even get a second look.
Stuff like vandalism, playing loud music at night, harassing people, setting fire to wheelie bins.
Which the rest of the world punishes through more focused laws. Vandalism laws cover setting fire to wheelie bins 'n shit, playing loud music at night is usually dealt with by being told to turn it down and if that doesn't work a ticket for disturbing the peace, harassing people is...well...harassment...it works so much better than easily abused ASBO bullshit. Most people who grow up under shit parents end up being shit parents themselves. it's all they know. For every one copy of your mate there's thousands who just repeat the cycle.
Not being funny, but even some kids who are raised in a nice safe, mentally sound environment grow up to be arseholes, they are normally called politicians I think.

It doesn't mean that they have to praise these absurd laws as well.
Hey all there's a difference between anti-social behavior and not wanting to be around people, the former being a type of person who does shit that's generally considered "being a menace to society". Read up on the differences for your knowledge please.
Such loose wording seems to open the law up for gross interpretations (and misinterpretations), and seems to grant more power in the wrong ways. Yes, some people do things that are genuinely disruptive, but if you're going to sort it out, ACTUALLY DO YOUR JOB RIGHT and don't push out laws that are looser than Margaret Thatcher on a jet engine. Even looser now the old witch is dead.
stifle legitimate demonstrations and criminalise youngsters
Working as intended.
Personally hoping my graduate job will let me move to the Netherlands, Denmark or Canada. Fuck this country. The current generation of politicians are so completely out of touch and unqualified to run this country. Some radical change is going to have to happen to convince me not to leave once I have the cash. Labour and Conservatives are basically the same, they just have different groups of people handing them massive lumps of money to bend the legislation their way behind the scenes (Unions and business moguls). And the Lib Dem's won't have a shot at power for another 10-20 years thanks to Clegg whoring his party out to Cameron.

It's not really that politicians are out of touch with the people here, but more that the people are out of touch with reality (anti-EU, anti-immigrants, not pro-privacy enough, not pro-rehabilitation enough). What a large portion of my fellow citizens believe in is disgusting and inhumane imo, and you get politicians like Wilders catering to this group, and in response to losing votes to this asshole other parties feel like they have to cater to this brainless group of people as well. I'm ashamed of my country right now, bunch of disgusting racist fucks.
Can the UK turn into any more of a nanny state than it currently is
