Woah there! Got a source on that bud?
Policy and statements regarding the border wall and Mexico, policy and statements regarding muslims. Just kinda starting there.
Policy and statements regarding the border wall and Mexico, policy and statements regarding muslims. Just kinda starting there.
Can you show me some racist tweets or videos or show me a policy and explain to me why it's racist instead of saying "It's racist because it is".
Policy and statements regarding the border wall and Mexico, policy and statements regarding muslims. Just kinda starting there.
how is building a wall racist? how is vetting people from muslim countries racist? Is muslim a race now?
how is vetting people from muslim countries racist? Is muslim a race now?
you know damn well what he meant
you know damn well what he meant
Nah I really don't. Doesn't have any evidence to prove anything he said lmao
And the fact that you equate religion with race and call people racist who don't agree or like Islam just further pushes that word "racist" into meaning fuck all hahahaha

Let's check out this article, 2nd sentence starts with "allegedly". Alright well I gave it a shot. Sick article. Lets not forget this part
and which they noted at the time did not constitute an admission of wrongdoing

how is building a wall racist? how is vetting people from muslim countries racist? Is muslim a race now?
Well, to a point, yes actually it is. Much in the same way "Jew" is a race. While it derives from religion, aesthetic characteristics are typically associated with it and specific regions that it is prominent in. So from that, "Muslim" is treated as a race in many cases because of those generally similar characteristics. "Race" doesn't even really exist on a genetic level for starters, its just groupings of certain characteristics and usually regions. Shared social and aesthetic traits and a broadly shared ancestry.

okay, good to know, now answer the first 2 questions I asked??
They're specifically targeted at filtering out people of certain racial groups. "Mexican" and "Muslim".
Nah I really don't. Doesn't have any evidence to prove anything he said lmao
And the fact that you equate religion with race and call people racist who don't agree or like Islam just further pushes that word "racist" into meaning fuck all hahahaha
He very specifically targeted muslim people in the middle east, even though most muslims don't live in the middle east and zero refugees have ever caused a terrorist attack in the US. The order was racist and bigoted against arab people, if you want to be picky.
They're specifically targeted at filtering out people of certain racial groups. "Mexican" and "Muslim".
But there's several entrances on the wall??? How exactly is that filtering them when they can go through the entrances??

But Saudi Arabia can still enter. Why not ban them too?? If he's being racist wouldn't he ban all of them??
But there's several entrances on the wall??? How exactly is that filtering them when they can go through the entrances??
Because it is literally a physical barrier designed to keep people out, with his own words from his campaign targeting it at Mexicans. Filters are by nature permeable, they let things through. But they restrict flow and remove unwanted components or elements.
Wouldnt Pence get kicked out too because he and Trump were part of the same package?
Probably. But there's still problems, like - what happens to Trump's cabinet? Do we go through another set of hearings, until people are sick of it and throw the 2020 election to the Republicans out of spite? If not, then people like Pruitt and DeVos will still hold office and we're still in a mess.
Plus if you face the American people with another year or two of campaigning, I feel like they'd just vote Republican out of spite anyway, and you're still in the cack with a GOP-controlled government.
But Saudi Arabia can still enter. Why not ban them too?? If he's being racist wouldn't he ban all of them??
Because the U.S. and Saudi Arabia have close ties, especially military ones.
But they restrict flow and remove unwanted components or elements.
Oh, so they keep out unwanted components or elements, why can't that be a good thing??
But Saudi Arabia can still enter. Why not ban them too?? If he's being racist wouldn't he ban all of them??
Because he has business interests there.
Oh, so they keep out unwanted components or elements, why can't that be a good thing??
Because the unwanted component it is filtering is Mexicans.
But Saudi Arabia can still enter. Why not ban them too?? If he's being racist wouldn't he ban all of them??
Because Saudi Arabia is very rich.
Because the unwanted component it is filtering is Mexicans.
illegal Mexicans*
Woah there! Got a source on that bud?
Oh come on, don't play that game.
When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6QEqoYgQxw proof that yes, he did say this)
And I can totally predict the response to this being "Well he wasn't talking about all Mexicans" and "he said some are good people!" which is complete bullshit and you'd have to have the naivety of a toddler to actually buy that. "I assume" are not words of sincerity.
Or how about the fact that Green card holders were caught under Trump's "muslim ban"? While it's true that might not be targeting race specifically, it's clearly a move born from xenophobia. Yes, people should obviously be vetted, but why should those people have to have gone through yet more screening after all of the screening that they went through already just because Trump decided he doesn't like where they're from?
And let's not forget the fact that Trump was a whining birther for a long time either.
illegal Mexicans*
The difference between a legal Mexican and an illegal Mexican is entirely a matter of policy.
The difference between a legal Mexican and an illegal Mexican is entirely a matter of policy.
Yea, why don't you go jump any other countries border and see what happens.
Yea, why don't you go jump any other countries border and see what happens.
Well, if we look at the policy of the EU member states for instance, they're entirely fine with that as they have an open border policy. But that statement doesn't actually make a point to begin with.

You don't win an argument by failing to disprove the most popular counter-arguement with name-calling lmao. 80% of women crossing into the US are being raped, and as our daddy trump famously said "well somebodies raping them". It's not hard to put 2 and 2 2-gether
and source on the green card holder's being caught in the muslim ban as well. I suspect it was a few cases blown way out of proportion.

Did you read your sources at all? It says women are often forced to use sex to pay the people smuggling them into the country. This says literally nothing about Mexicans in general or about Mexico sending criminals into the country. The solution to this would be making it cheaper to migrate and thus not require people to go through seedy channels, not build a wall.
