that's a juicy contradiction.

he might be alive for 15 seconds but the body will go instantly into shock, i doubt he'll be shooting back at anyone
some people don't even notice that they have been shot, and while I realise that getting shot in the heart is a little different that getting shot in the arm or leg, it's theoretically possible and should not be ruled out.

Deploy him to Aghanistan, he can insult the taliban on a megaphone.
I found a way how the army could save money AND help the enviroment:

all we need is a war in brazil to make up for the deforestation!!!!!!!!!!!1
Tungsten bullets, right?
What about everyone else who still uses lead
this is pointless

And if it get's lodged in a corpse, then it will use the decomposing tissues as fertilizer to grow.
Ive been using "green" bullets for a long time, they're made of copper. I just wouldnt call them eco-friendly as anything in their path usually ends up dead.
Hey, their corpses feed the flora, fungi, and fauna.

terrible mentality
Why? Just why?
If someone invades our country i'm not concerned on whether the bullets we use to repell the invasion are envirormentaly friendly.

You won't be saying when the lead seeps into the water table, and causes watershed wide contamination.
Am I the only one who thinks the US army wouldn't switch to a different kind of bullet only because it's environmentally friendly? Really, they'd be the last people to give a fuck in this kind of situation, it's obviously not the primary reason lead isn't being used in these.
"Everyone else is doing the wrong thing so why shouldn't I?"
Thats not what I'm saying at all.
I'm saying that in the long run this makes absolutely no difference. Everyone else is still using lead bullets, and comparing the US to the rest of the world is like comparing the beach to the Ocean.

It's more the fact that lead fuck ups the environment where fighting takes place, unfortunately that environment normally includes civilians, and they tend to dislike their sheep and children dying from lead poisoning.

You say like it's a bad thing!
Cripple the civilians, cripple the enemy.

Wouldn't be particularly moral, but war rarely is.
I'm of the opinion they're the enemy when they aid or the enemy or pick up a rifle, until they bring harm to you, you bring no harm to them.
Alas that doesn't always happen, but that's collateral damage for ya :v:

I like the way people stereotype a country. I always imagine american military generals, business men, and street cleaners colluding together to decide things as though they're all in on it.
The bullet was probably designed by a single person who "does" give a fuck and proposed to a government who wants the world to think they work hard and do all they can to be green. So long as the new bullet doesn't cost that much more than the old one.
