• Cuntcast wins net neutrality case

Guys, calm down. This just means that the FCC can't have power over the ISPs by merely existing. They can still get their net neutrality policies in place, they just have to make them law now. This is worse for Comcast in the end, because when these policies DO become law there will be no wiggle room for them at all.
Obama supports Net Neutrality.
God bless FiOS.
Why does everyone hate me.
Only for comcast users right?
Not necessarily. Others above me have stated it, but essentially this means that other ISPs can now do similar things and be justified in doing so since the Comcast case provides a legal precedent. I've read that the FCC is considering reclassifying the internet as a different type of communication system and taking control that way. I'll have to find what I read, however.
So as long as you don't go around downloading pirated stuff you're fine?
I thought the internet was government regulated 90%.
So as long as you don't go around downloading pirated stuff you're fine?
No man, now Comcast can do shit like: "If you want to access youtube, it's another $5 a month." "You're trying to get to the Verizon FiOs website? I don't think so! [Blocked]"
Jesus fucking Christ, Comcast. I thought you were pretty bad before, but now.
Oh no. Thank god I'm not part of Comcast. I hope this doesn't spread.
it's becoming even more of a reality.
Goodbye Internet, I barely knew thee
noob
If Comcast starts fucking with my internet, I'm switching companies.
I won't leave Comcast until they block porn sites.
Hopefully this shit doesn't spread to Canada
HAHAHAHA A little late for that buddy. My ISP (Eastlink), along with the major ISPs (Rogers, Bell, Telus and Shaw) are all throttling most P2P connections. I'm going to convince my father to switch to Teksavvy's Premium plan and get a SLPPP addon, the total is less than we're paying for our cable connection and is twice as fast. Telecoms in this country really fucking suck.

The government listened to us on the copyright consultation, so they should listen to us on this as well.
please tell me comcast will lose customers in droves for this.
the irony of this is that they are going to lose a fuckton of customers in Philadelphia, Comacst HQ. This city is a fucking goldmine for bit torrent bootlegs being sold on the streets. My friend buys them from his mom's friend, who is a cop.
Luckily, we still have Tor.
it's becoming even more of a reality.
If that ever happened, there would be riots in the streets.
Internet should be free (both figuratively and literally). It's such a huge access to knowledge and information that to block it or charge someone to access it is inhumane.
please tell me comcast will lose customers in droves for this.
It's a hard choice in places like where I live, where Comcast is the ONLY viable option for internet and everything else is dial-up.
please tell me comcast will lose customers in droves for this.
Doubt it, the average Comcast consumer most likely doesn't use torrents. At least not a lot.
it's becoming even more of a reality.
That's when we begin the riots.

In fact, I complained about low speeds, next week, they doubled my speed for free. All my P2P applications work beautifully and quickly.
Comcast can go fuck themselves.
I'm on cable one, and my bittorrent connection is cut hard. [editline]01:54AM[/editline] Fuck letting them restrict it more, we start the riots now.
Optimum Online :buddy:
it's becoming even more of a reality.
I'd batter my face in with an Italian War Hammer
:foxnews: According to Glenn Beck, Net Neutrality is Marxism and therefore evil :foxnews: (Show begins at 1:25)

Riotin' time.
