Whats the point in using the beta... You have to download it and even after that you can only play singleplayer as their are like 2 servers running.
Then deal with it until the patch gets released?

Yes the current source update broke Gmod. Just wait for Garry to send Valve a patch. (At least that's how I think it works.)
