Looks a lot like the motion scanner from X-com.
Sorry British, Team Six has a pocket size one already for each squad member. :buddy:

I just through a window but what do I know?
I remember reading about this a year or two ago in a Science magazine, so to me, this is late news.
But pretty cool nonetheless.

say the wall doesn't have a window
or looking through the window could get you shot
Title felt like a play on words to Back to the Future so I thought maybe its about a backpack sized time machine that lets you see through walls.
:frown:
I wonder why it can only pick up moving targets. Picking up stationary metal objects should be pretty easy as well, seeing as metal is very good at reflecting radio waves.
I would guess that it takes advantage of the doppler effect, measuring the shift in frequency when an E.M wave is reflected off a moving object.

I know right? Amazing, completely blew my mind too.
Now hook it up to some goggles that put the dot/person right where it should be in your vision.
Totally looks like some kind of 80's video game console
Fuck your handhelds, i have a chopper that does the same thing.

Goddamn those dots are wobbly. Plus it's not too good that you have to move for it to notice you. I hope they improve it significantly before it starts getting widely used.
