When I connected they were doing the weather... for only two cities. South Korea was ignored on the map.
Then they played some strange NK music, very 50s but in Korean. Then the announcer came back on and said something and bowed her head.
Then a waving North Korean flag appeared and I think it played their national anthem.

America is the only nation in the world to have ever used atomic weapons in a war and two cities and hundreds of thousands of civilians ended up getting glassed. 'Too soft' is fucking terrible choice of words.
