What's his catchphrase gonna be? Snivelling Gates? Cryin' Gates? Somehow don't think he'll go for the obvious Guilty Gates though
The Flood Gates
Big if true.
Big if true.
The nature of sealed indictments means they usually aren't opened unless the charges can be substantiated.
Trump is going to go down in history as the worst president the US has ever had. I look forward to the documentary about it in the future.
'Watergate except everyone is an idiot' remains true but no less clumsy a name.
I thought it was just "Stupid Watergate" doesn't hold nearly enough weight to explain just how stupid it all is, I'll give it that
Hold on tight boys, we're getting to the good stuff.
Yo is there a season 2 planned for this? This is the best show on TV right now it's fuckin' great.
I wonder if Manafort is actually stubborn enough to keep quiet and go to prison for the rest of his life. It seems like his testimony is really important to Mueller's investigation, so I hope he cracks soon.
He had been facing decades in prison on much more serious charges, including bank fraud and conspiracy to launder money, but under the charges he pleaded guilty to, he faces a maximum sentence of nearly six years.
It sounds nice saying "conspiracy against the united states", but there is no justice. Still, it helps.
So, this is pretty fucking major... This occurred under the Ukrainian regime that was a puppet government of the Kremlin -- the ousted regime whose leader fled to, and received protection from, Russia. Paul Manafort was actively lobbying in the US and Europe to project Putin's will. This is a confirmed link that a major player within Trump's campaign was an active Kremlin agent.
Conspiracy against the US... Now that is some serious shit. [editline]23rd February 2018[/editline]
So, this is pretty fucking major... this is where we learn that Manafort was just an unpaid janitor at a Trump rally, and has never met any member of the Trump team and that any images suggesting otherwise are Fake News™

Here we go boys
-tweets-
Now, let's not leave the meat out of that thread. I'm screaming over this news holy fucking fuck fuckfuck Ruh roh RUH ROH

RUH ROH SHAGGY I'm hyperventilating. Roger Stone is a prominent face around Trump before and during the campaign, and he stood up for Manafort after the media accurately sniffed out Manafort's Ukranian conspiracy connections. Rohrabacher is implicated by Gates to have been connected with Manafort since 2013, explaining his friendliness with Russia. Jeff Sessions can't remember anything except his name and that he hates pot smokers. I'm waiting for new revelations around Paul Ryan's "this is how we know we're a family" conversation to come up at any time. The conspiracy's getting deeper and further back in time by the day, lads. Republicans are proving themselves the party of the greedy and easily bought. Money before party before country.
TWEETS
Can I just say how impressed I've been with Mueller's investigation, and the work of external investigative journalists? Honestly, for all the threats that our democracy is currently facing, the work being done at the FBI, and the incredible efforts of our free media, are putting up an outstanding defense of our national values and integrity.
Lets just hope they can do something before they fuck it up even more.
Holy shit. Imagine living the through the Cold War including a few of its hot moments. Imagine being ideologically opposed to another nation. Duck and Cover. Just imagine that. Now imagine that wanting money was so hard it broke decades of propaganda and also lead to betraying your fellow American. Imagine wanting just an couple of extra grand. Imagine your fuckin' backbone being worth as much as a fucking Alienware computer. Fuck Dana Rohrabacher. I get that there was probably way more money but I find it humorous that an overpriced tech toy was all that was needed for you two betray your own country. It really is only a game score for these rich assholes.
What happens when all that Trump has done comes to light and Republicans prevent impeachment to go through? As far as I know, there's no other way to remove Trump from office.
What happens when all that Trump has done comes to light and Republicans prevent impeachment to go through? Considering the amount of evidence that's piling up there's a pretty decent change some Republicans will flip, and a handful will flip regardless. If they're able to pass the articles of impeachment then it's still a somewhat uphill battle in the senate, with republicans having a minor majority that would technically acquit if all voted along party lines. The other option would be the 25th amendment, but that would require the support of the vice president. To remove him requires its own impeachment proceedings. Even if Trump were to get impeached however, unless they're able to impeach Pence at the same time we'd be trading a bumbling idiot for a competent evangelical nut job. If both of them were able to go we'd then get Paul Ryan, which I suppose is the best possible outcome considering everyone else in line save maybe Mattis is woefully incompetent.
A Mattis presidency is the best case scenario, but honestly I'd settle for Paul Ryan at this point.
This makes me think the Republican party as a whole will change as we know it given how scandalous they've shown themselves. I can't remember a time when there was such polarizing shit going on in one party, like how do they recover from such a shit show?

Fox News will save their voting base. And there's always going to be the "better dead than democrat" voters out there. [editline]24th February 2018[/editline]
A Mattis presidency is the best case scenario, but honestly I'd settle for Paul Ryan at this point.
Ideally, we get someone who was an elected official. Mattis may be a great dude, but I think it would be horrific in the long run for the US to have a president that was never voted on in his life.
Mueller is gonna go down in history books after this is all over and most of Trump's cabinet is in jail. [editline]24th February 2018[/editline] Yellow Watergate
I'm still fond of "House of Tards" Holy fucking shitballs this presidency has been a fucking train wreck.
My favorite part about all of this is all the smug comments I can make at the republicans claiming trump and his crew are untouchable and filling my social media notifications I wonder if they have twitter in jail...
My favorite part about all of this is all the smug comments I can make at the republicans claiming trump and his crew are untouchable and filling my social media notifications I wonder if they have twitter in jail...
imagine donald passing notes around to his fellow inmates "I asked for the best and most beautiful jail in America and they do NOT have caviar? SAD!"

You know you'd think if you were greedy and corrupt enough to sell out and betray your own country all the damn time, you'd hire someone to hide your trail of feces that leads all the way right up to your sphincter These idiots just think e-mails work like paper mails and that delete equals burn
