I hope Trump doesn't get a single moment of peace; I want his every waking moment to be consumed with fear that Mueller is going to show up at the door with FBI to take him away in cuffs. He deserves to be scared.
Now, it's established factual precedent that the President cannot be directly indicted and criminally arrested while in office, so Mueller cannot simply walk in and throw the cuffs on him, yes. Mueller would need to refer his evidence to Congress for them to impeach Trump before anyone could cuff him. But I hope Trump still dreads the consequences every waking moment.
trump removed from office
pence steps down
snap election called
Libs and GOP put forth new picks to run
guys
this is how Bernie can still win
You want to know how Trump's lawyers are panicking right now? It's been a full 24 hours, and Trump hasn't said a single thing about this, despite this massive bombshell firmly establishing that Paul Manafort was a Kremlin agent who was building a career of converting politicians into Putin assets. I guarantee you that the only way Trump doesn't go to social media with a legendary temper tantrum after something like that is if his lawyers sat him down like a fucking child and told him, in explicit terms, "shut the fuck up. You do not want attention on this right now."

We'll see how that holds as Trump continues watching TV and keeps seeing his public image having mud slung at it. I doubt he'll last this night.

Fucking imagine this joke actually went through.
"Meme magic" except not for an orange.
It's a simple majority in the House but a 2/3 majority in the Senate IIRC
Exactly why hopefully this investigation will be able to dig out so much shit that, when the time comes, no republican will side with Trump, that being against his impeachment will be considered political suicide.

they keep updating this graphic but damn this is bad for Trump. Its practically stupidgate.
Maybe the reason why this is speeding along so fast is that these things usually involve parties on all levels denying everything, but in this case its nothing to the kremlin to loose these agents, and these guys are all really really bad at being spies and covering anything up.
Related: Manafort left a paper-trail via email of him falsifying his finances because he was too fucking stupid to figure out how to convert a .PDF to a Word document
Manafort wanted to edit his finances document, which was a .pdf, in order to secure a fraudulent bank loan. He couldn't figure out how to convert the .pdf to a Word doc, so he emailed it to Gates, who converted it to a Word doc and sent it back to Manafort. Manafort edited the Word doc, then sent the falsified document back to Gates, who converted to a .pdf and returned it via email to Manafort. Every step of his bank fraud was captured over email because these people don't understand computers.
I can't get over this point specifically.
Thank god these people don't know any better, and are leaving breadcrumbs the size of boulders.
I hope when this is all over Mueller gets a god damn medal for all of the amazing work he's been doing. Dude is a national hero.

Fixed that for you. Amazing to see that there is still a chance to end that reality show that is US politics right now.
this is great but im laughing at a stupid thought: what if it turns out that they all came up with this plan and executed it genuinely without trump's knowledge? like trump is just a child who has no idea what's going on while all his staff do everything for him, including collude with russia?
That would be fucking crazy, but at this point I wouldn't bother ruling it out.

It's a suspicion I have had for a while, but I am hoping he gets removed from office regardless.
Trump just does not seem to have the brain power to put together such a scheme.

I find it hard to believe that even if he wasn't the ringleader he didn't have some level of knowledge though. Or at the very least, Pence didn't.

I don't disagree with you necessarily, but having lived with and around excessively greedy people there's one thing to remember. They can be surprisingly cunning when they see they have a lot of personal wealth and power to gain.
That's not to say they suddenly become criminal masterminds, no. Their long term planning is nil. But I don't want people fall into some sort of complacency where they think people like Trump did literally nothing while the "smart people" around him did everything because that's just how his life is since he's rich.
People like Trump see opportunities for gain, step on everyone and everything in their way to selfishly attain them with a sometimes surprisingly well constructed short term power plan, then turn around and see how fucked they are. Then the hiring starts for fixers, for liquidators. The funny thing is, everyone around him is the same, they're all the same, which is why there aren't any "smart people" to help. Each stage is just as corrupt and bad at covering their individual piece as the next which explains the number of indictments and connections this quickly.

couldn't they basically rico act his ass reguardless
Trump isn’t particularly intelligent, but he’s also not nearly as stupid as many of us think he is. In fact, he has gotten away with quite a bit thanks to his presumed stupidity. In the business world, he has gained a reputation for ruthlessness and backstabbing. It is absolutely within his abilities to be involved in a scheme like this, and we shouldn’t fool ourselves into thinking otherwise.
Furthermore, whether Trump was the orchestrator of the plot isn’t the key question. He continually surrounds himself with evil people who can’t help but run their mouths, and yet he constantly claims ignorance. Assuming he had any knowledge at all, and chose to double down on his denials, that constitutes obstruction of justice.

I think his reputation is more or less an accidental product of him just being stupid and gullible.
Oh boy this is beautiful. I can't wait to see how this all ends.
Alright so let me get this straight because I'm not caught up.
Charged
- Manafort
Pled Guilty
- Flynn
- Gates
- Papadapolous (Possibly went undercover because the news came out that he was guilty months after the fact)
am I missing anyone?

There's also the [del]12[/del]13 Russians that were indicted if that falls into the category of what you're looking for.

The entire Republican party
There's also the 12 Russians that were indicted if that falls into the category of what you're looking for.
Looking mainly at American government officials. Not to be rude but those 12 Russians don't even show up on my radar as they're never going to be seen in an American court I don't think
So uh...

must have been some mighty powerful info to get those charges dismissed.
if Gates turns out to be uncooperative they can legally reinstate the charges against him, too.
FlipGate really should be the name for this criminal conspiracy, considering how much progress has been made via flipping criminals.
Can't wait until the day the case file reads "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. DONALD J. TRUMP, Defendant"
If this indictment turns out to be the decisive one that brings Trump down: Gatesgate

You're missing
Charged
- Internet Research Agency and 13 Russian nationals for interfering in the election
Pled Guilty/Flipped
- Richard Pinedo for identity fraud - public details are a bit vague, we presume he helped the Russians get American identities
- Alex van der Zwaan for lying to the FBI - Dutch national and associate of Manafort and Gates
