Uh when did I say that they should? I was just pointing out that it is indeed worse to live in a jail than to just plain end it.
Why you so mad? I didn't say anything rude to you.
Serve well.
He deserves much more than a firing squad, but let's not get that ball rolling because we all know how much Facepunch loves to side with and defend completely fucking twisted murderers, completely forgetting that there are numerous victims who were either killed or violated, not to mention the families that are trying to cope with these atrocities.
Yeah, rate me dumb because I think monsters should be slain.
i rate you dumb because you're still hanging on to bronze age morals where apparently we don't deal with criminals in a civilized manner.
kindly leave those at the door.
How? He's a drain on my tax dollars.
and we've gone over how killing him is more expensive, what, twenty times? are you even a taxpayer? judging by your attitude you can't be an adult yet.
as much as you want to just go out executing people like a madman we have a legal system for a pretty good reason.
and the fact that you'd kill people because they cost you money makes you sound like a sicko too.
He is apparently trying to kill himself. He is, with toilet paper rolls and foil.

Tell him to not sleep for 7 days. So he can go into a coma.
Why didn't they cut off his pension?
The court has to rule that.
Military can't do anything about it.
However, I hope this guy rots. He's a disgrace to our Canadian Forces.
Acts such as these would of gotten you death by firing squad earlier in days, which is justified for this prick.
82 rape BNE's, murder, one sick fuck.
Tax payers shouldn't be paying shit all to keep this mother fucker alive.

If the military were to execute him with a firing squad at the base, it wouldn't cost anything except the ammo from the guns and the wages of the soldiers. This man plead guilty, he admitted he killed one of his own corporals as well as another woman, among other heinous and disturbing things. He is scum, he doesn't deserve to live, and I still don't see why some people are think they can rehabilitate sick fucks like this.
He was also friends with Paul Bernardo in high school, another sick fuck murderer and rapist.
I honestly think there are some people who do not deserve to live, and this man is one of them. The Sun had a headline today about this man, it read "ROT IN HELL." I hope he does. I hope there is a hell, and this man rots in it.

come back when you age a few years and learn about something called a "legal system."
come back when you age a few years and learn about something called a "legal system."
I know about the legal system, I believe there are many, MANY flaws in it.
And insulting people doesn't make your point any more credible, proper, or morally right. Each person has their own opinion, and you should respect that. Just because you want to keep this abomination alive, doesn't mean you need to insult those who don't.
“As long as he dies in jail, I’m happy,” he said.
“I’m glad he cried,” said their mother, Roxanne, clutching a framed picture of her murdered daughter. “Justice was served.”
I think those people are dicks. Sure, the guy killed a relative but at least the deceased didn't have to endure years and years of living hell.
This guy's life in jail is going to be awful and those bitches are happy. People don't understand how long and agonizingly horrible prison is.

forget the moral reasons, why do you need to kill someone? all you're doing is satisfying a disgusting need for retribution and wasting money. just one more body in the pile. it's unnecessary.
i didn't know not allowing governments to kill their own citizens was a flaw.
and lol you say i'm not morally right (ps i didnt even insult you) when you want to kill people.

Canada's legal system is a fuckin joke.

While I know your opinion shan't be swain by mine, I say it's to ensure he doesn't escape and re-offend, or get parole (because unfortunately a life sentence isn't really a life sentence in Canada) and re-offend. In this case, there is concrete proof of the crime, any appeal would be useless, he plead guilty. In this case, he should be killed to ensure he can't re-offend. I understand some people value every life, no matter what the person has done with it, but I personally feel there are some people who deserve to die, and I feel this man is one of them. If I did this, I would expect nothing less than death for my crimes.

What do you expect? Do you know what he did to their relatives? (I sure don't, but I'm sure it was bad)

Ever seen Green Mile? If real life is anything like that, the people regret their crimes and wish they could take it all back

Um I think you'd change your tone if he brutally raped and killed someone close to you.

I think you misunderstood. I didn't mean to say that he would want him killed, I just don't think he'd feel very bad for the guy.
hes gonna get fucked up in prison thats for sure
You guys do know he's still going to get paid 50,000 dollars a month right?
Atleast my teacher told me that

:eng101:
So wait, he killed 2 people? Man over here where I live people get away with 25 years for 7 killings, and I live in Canada.... TBH I feel bad for this guy, he got served far too much...
i rate you dumb because you're still hanging on to bronze age morals where apparently we don't deal with criminals in a civilized manner.

It's so civilized to leave a man to rot in a room he barely fits in for the rest of his life, not to mention whatever torment he'll go through at the hands of rapist haters and horny convicts that want to show him what it's like to be the woman he obviously wanted to be.
and we've gone over how killing him is more expensive, what, twenty times? are you even a taxpayer? judging by your attitude you can't be an adult yet.
Yes, I do, and yes, I am. My opinion on how serial raping murderers differs from yours because I don't look at it from an emotionless robot's objective perspective, so I must be a child.
as much as you want to just go out executing people like a madman we have a legal system for a pretty good reason.
The desire for the retribution for grotesque acts of sexual depravity and murder = a rampaging, indiscriminate killing mentality.
and the fact that you'd kill people because they cost you money makes you sound like a sicko too.
You obviously have a hard time comprehending what you're reading. I didn't say kill him because he costs me money, I just view it as one less reason to give a shit whether or not he does end up dead. And I don't see how he can "give back to society" when feeding, clothing and housing him in prison is a drain on it.

He's headed there anyway. He's better off dead.
i didn't know not allowing governments to kill their own citizens was a flaw.
He should be considered a traitor and an enemy to the Canadian people.

This was in Canada, did you read the article?
Second, are you fucking kidding me? Those people spent the last unsuspecting moments of their life in sheer horror as he raped and then murdered them, leaving their families in shambles, on top of other crimes, and you think he's being treated too harshly? Oh, let's not forget he's a huge blemish on the reputation of the Canadian military, a big slap in the face to those who actually serve their country.
What kind of fucked up world was I born into where we forget that people have been killed and families are left devastated and instead focus on how badly the fucking killer is treated?

You keep saying that until your wife or daughter are home alone and are ambushed, tied up, molested, raped, maimed and then brutally murdered all while pleading and screaming on a video that the sicko made for later viewings. And when she cries out "If I die, make sure my husband/father knows I love him," (this actually happened) you try maintaining the same stance, especially when you have to sit in court and listen to how bad he says he feels about it.
[release]'I don't want to die, please... If I die, will you make sure my mom knows that I love her?'
—Jessica Lloyd[/release]
I'm talking about a firing squad, one of the quickest, least painful ways to go out. He killed one of his victims by duct taping her mouth and nose shut so that she suffocated. Can you imagine the sheer terror that induces in a person?

Which is why I don't understand the uproar over executing him. If anything, it's more humane. Apparently people love a good, prolonged torture.
What if he suffers from a heart attack, dies for a minute and is brought back to life then shortly after does the same? Has he served his two life sentences?
i'm going to rape you now, hokay?
hokay.
ho, lovely moose out the window, eh?
What if he suffers from a heart attack, dies for a minute and is brought back to life then shortly after does the same? Has he served his two life sentences?
no because a life sentence just means, i can't remember the exact number, but something like 85 years
What exactly did he do that is so significant? I understand that it's bad that he brutally raped and killed two people, and the countless other stuff, but you hear about that stuff all the time.
25 before you can apply for parole, I think. Sad that "life" doesn't really mean life.
Fuck that it's too expensive
life in jail is both cheaper and more humane
They do have to be fed you know?
Which is faily expensive in the long run compared to a firing squad.

He was a highly decorated colonel in the Canadian Air Force and commanded one of the largest bases in Canada.
