Why compare the destruction of a human life to this?
Lol. That's rich. Abortion isn't murder you dolt.
Activision is planning to implement a DRM system with SimCity.
As well as remove Disasters altogether from the game.
Fuck them all for Life.

Well that is matter of opinion It's still the destruction of a human fetus, no matter what your opinion is. But we're not here to discuss such things, or call people stupid because of a difference of opinion. We are here to discuss Ubisoft doing something right for the first time in a few years.
Now, we wait for EA to scrap their 'online passes'.

Bit off-topic, but I never really used the disasters in SimCity 4. Sure, they were a little fun, but I really enjoyed building a big ol' city more than destroying it (and then reloading my save)

Erm, EA not activsion,
Also, where did you hear they were removing disasters? last I heard they were still in.
What is it with you simpletons and whore-ass big titles. Did mommy slap you?
I have a userscript that strips all size information from titles.
It works until setting huge ass titles on people becomes bannable.

What's wrong with them exactly?
You have to be online to activate offline mode
You have the option to run steam in offline mode if you have no internet connection, which in turn lets you run your games offline. I've never had any problems with this before like other have stated previously, but I can still play my games (unless the publishers/developers forced always-online drm).
Please make this retroactive, I want to be able to play my fully legitimate copy of Silent Hunter 5 and have it actually register my saves and not drop my connection in the middle of the game.

Holy shit off topic but why did it take me so long to realize that your avatar is Minsc with sunglasses?

I was just using it a couple days ago, never had that problem.

Congrats on being in the minority then; Most people I know who play or played SimCity 4 were obliterating cities in minutes of starting the game. And for the same reason people kill Sims in the Sims games.
