Men's rights? Woman's rights? Forget that stuff, what about plain and simple civil rights? Everybody bleeds the same color from different wounds.
feminism isn't "let's take down men" it's "let's equalize women to men". it's a very common mistake that seems to be made entirely be people who don't know what feminism actually is, and only have the definition of it told to them by people who know just as little or are straight-up misogynistic.
what is /pol/
Living proof that moot can't control his boards. It had gotten the chop once for racism, but in one of his most ill-considered moves, he brought it back under the condition that it not become /stormfront/ 2.0. As you can guess, they have utterly flouted the terms of their reprieve and are spreading their crap unabated across the site.

It's been like that for so long we don't even realize it anymore, but when the seesaw starts to balance out we notice we're falling and some men start yelling about how their rights are being taken away
uh excuse me but didn't you just call the woman dumb like 15 minutes before ? sure you wanna call the guy disgusting for making the same mistake ?
i didnt repost it on a different website and continue this dumb cycle im not calling him disgusting because he made a mistake, im calling him disgusting for continuing it; if you read the post after that you could see thats very clearly what i meant

What are you talking about, I was also saying that I am sorry about posting this as news as this is a hoax.

I can't even think of one. I mean it seems like last page even Max said that feminism's goal of removing strict gender roles would go towards fixing the things MRAs complain about anyways.
What situation exists where men need to "fall" to realize feminism? I can't even think of one. I mean it seems like last page even Max said that feminism's goal of removing strict gender roles would go towards fixing the things MRAs complain about anyways.
what section of feminism are you looking at? it's currently fragmented into multiple factions, the two main faction are for equal gender rights and the other is going for the literal definition of feminism (female superiority). you cannot look around the internet or in real life without seeing two or more factions of feminism. the litteral feminists are okay with the gender death ratio as it is today 20 men to 1 women in job related deaths.
as women become equal men will lose more privileges(i mean part of equality is taking privilege away). some people will see this as their rights being eroded.
remember that equality is asymptotic, it is impossible. however we can get close enough to where it really doesn't matter anymore, but pure equality can't happen.
remember that equality is asymptotic, it is impossible. however we can get close enough to where it really doesn't matter anymore, but pure equality can't happen.
that doesn't really have much to do with what i said. it's also a defeatist attitude which isn't particularly helpful for egalitarian movements. if you are destined to fail, why fight in the first place?
remember that equality is asymptotic, it is impossible. however we can get close enough to where it really doesn't matter anymore, but pure equality can't happen.
What is the point of saying that? Your comment is pointlessly negative.

So are you saying feminism is a slippery slope towards feminazism?
I'm still totally confused as to why this happened to Arianna Pattek. All the evidence on the past few pages makes her seem like quite the outstanding character. I skimmed her thesis paper and it was good, she worked with kids in Africa, and she seems to have been a pretty upstart activist. I'm trying to piece it together, and people that threw /pol/ into the mix make it make a lot more sense. Here's the narrative I've thrown together, though it's really just disjointed guesses: A conspiracy theorist friend of Pattek posts about her thesis on /pol/. He's outraged because of how it criticizes historical revisionism, especially holocaust denial. Perhaps this student/friend/other person was a holocaust denier and took special insult to it. /pol/ leaps on it, finds that she is a feminist, and immediately makes a blog in her name to discredit her. Someone else from the Georgetown student body on /pol/ has access to the website, and begins to delete all information about her. It sort of disappears until someone finds the blog again and posts it to a shitty Men's Right's blog and then it explodes across the internet again from a totally unrelated outrage. Poor Pattek. Neo-nazi conspirators ruin her online presence and then social media picks up the wreckage a year later and makes her look like an idiot. Fuckin' /pol/.

(And other things like that)
/pol/ is in no way pro-MRA. They're just Nazi Germany trying to make people angry at "muh multiculturalism" as they say. For all the dirty shit MRA's pull this time they're not guilty and nobody believes them.
Men will "fall" in the sense that men won't make up 80% of CEOs and judges anymore. (And other things like that)
So long as qualified people get into positions that they deserve to get into and aren't barred from them by frivolous things such as race or sex I can't see any issue anyone would have.
This is a REALIST idea. i never said we shouldn't try, i'm just saying all in all as humans we will never fully be happy with the situation at hand and that everyone works for what benifits "me" and "my group". everything is corruptible and someone can easily cloak themselves in the guise of equality for the sake of getting an advantage later. i would like to call this "social momentum", when you are gaining more rights why would you ever want to stop?
you can't keep "gaining more rights" after equality is reached. equality means taking away privilege, once there isn't any more privilege to fight you simply end up giving privilege.

But there are only 3 percent female CEOs. How do you explain that? Also, the goal shouldn't be to have fifty/fifty quotas everywhere, that way you gonna punish people which are qualified to do their job but you giving the job to someone based on their sex, which I thought was exactly what feminism doesn't want? Why don't you complain that there are no female sewer cleaners or oil rig workers? Why do you even care what the sex the CEOs are, shouldn't the fact that females CEOs exist say enough about the gender equality? Given how often it's brought up it doesn't look like they have less interest in it either. And I have complained about the gender disparity in trades before. There are entire organizations devoted to getting more women into the trades/mining/etc. It's not an issue that people ignore. As I said, Norway has more gender equality but even less female CEOs than USA. People have the choice of profession, and if mostly men wish to become a CEO, why is that so bad? It shouldn't depend on your gender if you are getting a job, but on your qualifications.
