Russia invades Ukraine. Roads and airports being blocked and occupied

I like how Russian government wins either way.
Russia gets control of Crimea, which boosts its position on western front while letting Ukraine to integrate into European community, or Ukraine has to pay its dept, which is around 5 billion USD.
Also, our government wouldn't do anything as drastic as outright invasion without having either a legitimate reason or knowing how western nations will respond. That probably explains non-affilated 'Russian' troops getting control of the airport.
Right now, there is a law in the passing, to quicken the prodecure of recieveing Russian citizenship.
The government just needs to give passports to ethnic Russians in Crimea, and it will have a legit (in the eyes of international law) reason for intervention.
Let's hope something happens. Let the ex-communists destroy each other so capitalism can reign!
Um really?
this isn't about getting more land this is about having a warm water port, access to the black sea, securing the oil and gas pipelines, and protecting the little heart of russian agriculture and food that crimea borders
The more I think about it the more this whole thing sounds like a crazy game of Civ 5.
Russia wont do anything bad to Ukraine, since we'r brother nations. We also got a load of land(1st place in the world) so we dont need their territory, we hardly manage ours. It is some crap happening now
in the Ukraine with busters in masks appeared from the middle of nowhere. Regular people don't behave
like they, i assure u. I also would like to ask u not to believe every word u hear on TV, since european
and us channels are surely given command to show u Russia as smth bad and dangerous. Thats not true. I live in Russia and feel nice as well as my relatives and friends. So if Russia sends there some forces that means it is no law now in Ukraine and we surely were asked for help by Yanukovitch who
is guarded by our goverment. That is.
Long night at the FSB Ivan?

If you Russians are content with that then it's OK, just don't shove your "lifestyle" on to other people then. Also Windows xp, lol (i'm on my reserve laptop now, so anything else but windows xp is not an option for me)

Propaganda folks, plain and simple.
Propaganda folks, plain and simple.
It's not even like it's good propaganda. A brief jaunt back into history will show you that Russia basically exists on screwing it's neighbour nations.

Do you guys think Russia is going to push deeper into Ukraine?
Do you guys think Russia is going to push deeper into Ukraine?
I hope not. If they do, then it's an invasion. Something that I imagine would be impossible for the UN to ignore.
Do you guys think Russia is going to push deeper into Ukraine?
I don't think so, the Crimea population is quite happy about the russian presence and by the looks of it, the russians are just showin presence and are peacekeeping.
They won't do anything if unprovoked.
Are you saying what is happening right now is not an invasion?

You are so delusional it's sad, really.
Ukraine's self-proclaimed president signed a decree on Saturday declaring the appointment of a pro-Russia premier in the Crimea region illegal
how can you guys literally support this
I didn't know McCain went to the protests and gave a speech like that. Whether or not you agree with that man's views, you have to admit that he is a very sincere man.
Still would vote for him in a heartbeat if he went as a presidential candidate.
You are so delusional it's sad, really.
It may be bullshit, but not delusional. Southeastern Ukraine mostly voted for Yanukovych.

They're securing their assets, namely in Crimea. They will "occupy" it until the political situation has "stabilized" (meaning when Yanukovich is back in business)
