Zero.
What do you mean by "major wars"? There have been fuckloads of wars since 1945
I guess the "tanks are 30 minutes away from Ukraine" doesn't apply any more, right?
"Deeply concerned"

I really don't get your point
do you expect the Secretary General to strap on some power armour and get hotdropped over the Crimea Crysis style
I guess the "tanks are 30 minutes away from Ukraine" doesn't apply any more, right?
More like 30 minutes into Ukraine.
What do you mean by "major wars"? There have been fuckloads of wars since 1945
Don't think you understood what they were talking about.
What do you mean by "major wars"? There have been fuckloads of wars since 1945
There haven't been any crazy global wars. Really the UN is most of the reason why Europe is so happy together now.
Well, Happy is a relative term of course, looks like it's gonna start fucking up soon maybe.
edit:
Though really the success of the UN's peace shit is so regional it's not even funny. Plenty of motherfuckers still murdering eachother everywhere, even though like almost every country on the fucking planet is a member now.
Ukraine isn't a world power
Neither is this a major war.
So whats your point about the UN?
What do you mean by "major wars"? There have been fuckloads of wars since 1945
Wars between not important locations, yes.
War as in war between big powerful nations like USA and France? Nope. Not since WWII really.
Neither is this a major war.
So whats your point about the UN?
So the UN won't do shit
What do you mean by "major wars"? There have been fuckloads of wars since 1945
Intermingling in the UN and it's branches puts countries in more of a gridlock. Nations try to break out of it, and while they have a tendency to change for the better, sometimes the big five might let nasty shit slip in small drops because nobody can touch them.
I guess the "tanks are 30 minutes away from Ukraine" doesn't apply any more, right?
Tanks now will be 30 minutes from Dnepropetrovsk. Then 30 minutes away from Poltava. Then Kharkov.
Then after some time they will be 30 minutes away from Kiev, and full circle would be completed.
So the UN won't do shit
Yes they will.
This isn't going to disintegrate into a war between the western powers and Russia like it would have done so easily before the UN was formed.
Our media is using footage of Kiev burning during the protests with the headlines RUSSIA INVADES. Wonder how many of the Ameridumbs will believe this shit

Like when they thought the Russians invaded Georgia, the state.
So it looks like they already are trying to take the rest of Ukraine. Shit's rocketing towards the fan, someone has to stop this.

1925 GMT: Interfax Ukraine reports that the resolution of Russia’s Federation Council giving the agreement for the Russian president to use Russia’s armed forces on the territory of Ukraine was taken on the basis of unconfirmed information, says Andrei Yurov, a prominent expert of the veteran Moscow Helsinki Group who is also a member of the Presidential Council on Human Rights:
“I have just read the statement today from Mrs. Matvienko, chairwoman of the Russian Federation Council of the Federation which says that there were casualties among Russians in the Crimea. That was the basis for today’s vote. I was finally able 10 minutes ago to reach Vyacheslav Svetlichny, the Consul General of Russia, to clarify the situation with him as to whether there really were casualties among Russians. He stated that there were no casualties among Russians, and the night-time clash about which the Supreme Council of the Crimea writes consisted only of a few shots in the air. That is, this was some small resistance with force within the Interior Ministry, but we cannot speak of any casualties, or any real large-scale events.”
Yurov added, “I believe that law-enforcers have the situation completely under control, and there is no need for external forces at all.”
I remember some channel using Greek protest footage to make some protests in Russia seem more violent.

Now look at us little Baltic states, next to a certain big bully Russia.
If all you need is political instability to have a valid casus belli then I'm scared about what might start happening here.
I mean yeah, I'm paranoid to all hell but yeah, it's possible aint it.

Honestly I think the only one that can stop this is Putin.
We really don't have any kind of leverage against Russia. They supply Europe's gas.

A little too late to finally being put on alert, doesn't it take 48-72 hours to fully mobilize divisions?
