At this point I'm convinced Putin is just trying to humiliate the EU after his own humiliation at the whole Ukraine affair during the Olympics. He and every other world leader recognize that war is de facto off the table and he'll use this latitude in Ukraine to re-consolidate popularity at home and make a foreign political gesture to the effect that Russia will always make the final move.

Fair enough. Euromaidan isn't a completely objective thing but it generally provides links to independent sources or statements. RT is little more than a high political tabloid that actively and with an agenda makes stuff up.

Euromaidan is mostly harmless, RT is actively destructive.

He's telling the truth, actually. Going to the video on youtube and hitting translate on Chrome gives the title "Ukrainian KrAZ and 152mm Howitzer MSTA-B in Kiev 02.03.2014". I don't see why you're making a huge deal out of this.
