The only American about them is the people who assembled the cars.
And the parts they used for assembly are most likely manufactures somewhere else in the world than America.
And how many of those people aren't immigrants anyway? or descendant of recently immigrated (as in the last 30 years) immigrants?
Sorry, but I find the FUCK YEAH MADE IN 'MURRICA!! notion to be downright retarded and counter productive as a whole.
I don't know how popular fiat is over there in the states, but I know its a very popular and successful company here in Europe.

Well that's because you're not a true 'murican. Get on our level.

Well to be honest that's not really a positive for cars, not nowadays.

I was expecting someone to say started by a South African
to which I would reply that is historically the nature of American capitalism
I guess you can say that Ford is the best American based car company. Interesting considering they were falling apart hard from the 50's to the 70's, they've really fixed themselves.

I'd say it's more Chevy. When you're talking American motor sports, you're usually talking Corvette and that's Chevy.

the only reason bare-bones f-150's are used as fleet vehicles is because ford literally sells them for next to nothing, less than 10 grand last I checked.
At least Chevy and Ford are still based in America. Sad to see car companies being bought out by foreign companies left and right.

Ford makes some nice cars now, but I'm still not a huge fan. Chevy's cars are pretty shit now too, but I'll always be a fanboy.

Chevy might be based in America, but all the production is in Mexico and Canada.
