Definitely the best performance of the night.
Russia was pretty good.
[editline]b[/editline]
Working my way through the grand final performances.
Germany's singer is cute, Poland's singer is a creepy Johnny Depp.
[editline]a[/editline]
Netherlands is also good.
Israel sent a goth?
UK actually got 12 points, that surprised me.

Thank you based Malta.
Not like we used to own you or anything.
ukraine's was pretty bad, infact this eurovision was pretty bad nothing stood out as amazing
australia should have won
It's all sympathy votes.
Australia was fucking robbed
ukraine's song was absolute shit
she looked rediculous, cool song tho.
Crazy outfits are a time honoured tradition of Eurovision :v:
Maybe because these results are very much related to Russia??? The winner was Ukraine with a song condemning the past actions of the USSR. Russia tried to get the song banned from the competition.
It was actually a callback to Ukraine claiming it will boycott Eurovision if Russia wins.
[editline]15th May 2016[/editline]
Which is funny because the voting in Eurovision has been biased towards Russia, hell they just barely lost this year.
Only reason this didn't happen sooner was because Ukraine didn't participate in 2015 I bet.
There is something wrong with your views if you seriously think Russia's performance wasn't top-notch.
I'd hope that most people would have a problem with Russia having a song shitting on Ukraine considering it's never been a victim of any Ukrainian aggressions. The song was about a very much real event led by Joseph Stalin, who wasn't exactly known as being the nicest guy.
.
Lets be honest, Ukrainians did it only to insult Russia. Which is actually a bit pathetic.

I have nothing against the Russian people (save for fucking idiots on Dota), but it's hard to not dislike the actions of its government unless your only news source is RT.
Who gives a fuck, songs in eurovision are supposed to not be political, and somehow that song was let through.

I was suprised to see Verka when they were showing the judging polls
[t]http://i.imgur.com/qBEruKM.jpg[/t]
I'm also suprised Sweden scored as many points as it did, I thought it was boring as hell.
Totally not rigged guys. This biased win made me so angry, because i was supporting Straya
Considering that some of the Ukraine officials promised to host next Eurovision in Crimea in case of winning - good luck with that, lol.
And I suspect, that Putin will be blamed again, if they won't find the money for hosting that.

Sweden's song was so fucking boring I was okay with Ukraine winning.
Also I really hoped Australia would win, because most of Eurovision was kind of shit and I felt like they actually brought some quality. Also I really liked Spain's song.
i liked the song but that vote off was an annihalation.
poland went from like last place to 5th in one go thx to the voting.

The jury went all political on Poland because being the black sheep of the Europe and hating muslim immigrants.
Poland got over 200 points from viewers because it was mostly Polish emmigrants voting :v:
The irony is all over here.

This bothers me because Poland actually takes in refugees, and quite a lot, but they're refugees that can actually easily assimilate into the country (Ukraine).
Eurovision is just a bullcrap political shitfest
Straya was incredible, italy and UK sucked massive balls
Germany gives points to isreal, and the voting for ukraine almost looked like the cold war was back on
But hey at least we got 10th place
again
Was hoping for a Bulgaria win. The song was good, the visuals were good (and she was cute).

Last year I saw news about judge voting was something like 90% of the score, so it's basically rigged from the ground up.
[editline]15th May 2016[/editline]
And sweden's song was one of the better, but only because they were all awful. I found Ukraine's to be awful and I think it most likely won because of politics and anti russian mob, which is legit what Eurovision forbids but okay. The lyrics were literally about how Russia is horrible(they even announced this before the song played) and this is okay but waving their own flag(which they got warned for) is not?
I'm really curious where Ukraine will find the money to host eurovision and how Ukrainians is going to react to this when they realize "Holy shit, they spent that much on Eurovision instead of *Something more important*?". This years eurovision cost 125m$ but usually budget is somewhere between 15-50m$.
How will Ukraine pay for this? They're already in massive financial trouble due to the Crimean war effort and the second sarcophagus that needs to be built over the Chernobyl reactor. One reasonable option is to host the ESC in Chernobyl by building a giant lead concert hall on the site.
Just found this:
Jury's winner: Australia
Voters' winner: Russia
Winner: Ukraine
:v:
That political voting holy shit
Well yeah, Eurovision
Can't really think of a year where politics didn't decide the winner

This is what it was sorely missing this year, utter cheese.
All the acts took themselves way too seriously this time round.
Australia kicked ass this year. I genuinely liked Hovi Star's performance, much better than what we sent last year (Golden Boy). Congrats on the win Ukraine!

We need Verka as a host for Eurovision 2017.
It feels like Czech Republic didn't do anything.

god yes It'd be fun as fuck

PETRA
DO YOU HAVE FUN?
[editline]15th May 2016[/editline]
Though I have literally no idea how they'd run it considering they couldn't even take part in 2015 Eurovision because of financial difficulties.
i didn't watch live but i've been checking out some vids and the visuals for this are pretty cool
