I know it's complete bullshit that FP/Garry is getting sued, but if they get settled out of court for around 3.5k as Starpluck said, why not just settle and be done with it?
I'm sure Garry has 3.5k to spare what with Garrysmod etc.

if garry pays up it means that the company can get away with even more
It's not like we're the only forum on the internet that has news articles posted. (Credit, in the form of a link is given.) Content is generated by users, the host (Garry) has no responsibility for the content so as long as he's not advocating illegal activity. If anything, those people should be grateful for the potential traffic they might receive as a result of an article being posted.
While they're at it, why doesn't someone sue Garry for hosting the forum where a MUFC scammed some of us? It's ridiculous to think that someone would actually try this. If they were upset, a complaint should have been made requesting that the content be removed.
