However, US Fair Use states that reporting news is NOT copyright infringement. And we aren't even claiming it's not the intellectual property of of the LSRJ, and we even provide a link to the original article.

In today's world, that's all that's needed to constitute a copyright lawsuit. Hire some expensive lawyer, tell him to drag out the case as long as possible before settling.

Seems like fair use to me. Then again the whole concept of fair use is kind of broad and needs a better definition.
