If you didn't realize that the Buggers were actually LGBT boogeymen and gay people on your first read through of Ender's Game then you're inept at critical thinking.
Well, I never read Ender's Game, so it's 'good' to know that he was crazy conservative in that, too.
and their teabagger allies
I lol'd
If you didn't realize that the Buggers were actually LGBT boogeymen and gay people on your first read through of Ender's Game then you're inept at critical thinking.
I read it when I was a kid. :c [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] snooping around wikipedia oh my god
Hamlet's Father is a 2008 novella by Orson Scott Card, which retells the story of Shakespeare's Hamlet in modernist prose, and which makes several changes to the characters' motivations and backstory. It has drawn substantial criticism for its revelation that King Hamlet was a pedophile who molested Laertes, Horatio, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, and allegedly implying that this in turn made them homosexuals.

Republicans = Lannisters Democrats = Starks
If that's the case I sure hope Obama doesn't have any [sp]weddings[/sp] to go to in his near future.
When you play the game of thrones you either win or you accept a position in the senate.
I think his point is a good one. The only people so concerned with filtering out voters are the ones who want to control everything. The idea the US was founded on was that everyone should have a voice. So there's a conflict there, if you think only certain people should be heard and should have a say, that's elitist thinking at best and fascist at worst.
"Republicans and their teabagger allies" lol i find that too funny for what it actually is
He's not a political figure, so I don't really see why this needs to be posted in the news section, despite how many GRRM fans we have here. Even though I agree with him, this isn't any more relevant from a news standpoint than John Voight spouting republican talking points on Hannity.
why in the fuck are you dickbutts getting mad? he just stated his opinion and the media covered it because he's famous. it's not like he's out prickwaving saying "FUCK THE REPUBLICANS" for some reason facepunch seems to have a serious problem with celebrities getting media attention. I dunno why.
Because famous celebrities getting media attention for their political opinions is just as bad as big corporations getting media attention for their political opinions.
I don't actually see a problem with anyone getting attention for a political opinion, I see a problem when they paid for that attention. This guy didn't, so whoop dee fucking doo. Heaven forbid people want to know what a guy famous for writing writes about.
