Sometimes I wonder if you should keep that kind of information in a screenshot if they want to share it completely publicly in the first place.
I agree, however some users with strong opinions might take it too far. Plus, it depends on the pivacy settings of the person in question, he or she might have it set so only friends can view their posts, in which case, it would be an invasion of their privacy to share it. Sort of like leaking GMF content. It's shared publicly, but only within a defined group of people.

Yeah I wouldn't share anything 'public' if their settings restricted the post in any way. I just mean if every part of their profile is already public, and they post their post to ALL audiences (even those that aren't registered to FB), then screencapping their post in full is fully within bounds.
Its facebook nothing is actually private on there.
I'm curious on who the donor was. I assume he is some sort of politician or religious broadcaster.
My response would have been 'That's nice, but there's a bit of a problem with your request. We are not obligated to spend donations in the way the donor wishes them to be spent. We have accepted your donation and will use it for whatever we/i] want to, and that includes supporting trans girls. Have a nice day and thank you for the lovely donation!'
If the donation came with terms that you don't want to accept really the only thing you should do is reject the donation. Responded to immaturity with more immaturity really isn't the right thing to do.
But the whole fucking idea of a donation is that you like what they're doing/support it/want to contribute, putting stipulations in a donation (other than the already implied stipulation of using the money for things for the organisation) is kinda being an asshole. It's like saying "I support what you're doing but don't trust you enough to use the money well."
That's really sad that they care more about their own beliefs over their own children.
Worse thing is the connotations of enforcing transphobia on young children, imagine a world in the future where equality is so close yet out of reach because some parents of the last generation bought up there kids saying 'the trannies/blacks/jews/gays (or any other minority with derogatory terms attached) are fundamentally wrong and are going to hell'.
Today, this whole acceptance thing is a bit new but with any luck in the future it'll be the norm.
American girl scouts are weird as hell regardless
Why do they have their own brand of factory-made cookies that they sell, that doesn't make any sense

Why was trannies the only derogatory term you used there? That's a bit weird.

case and point
Some people don't understand that scouting is about solidarity and respect for everyone, no matter what. That is what I learned in my seven years at the danish boy scouts.
Also, kickass backcountry trips where you do insane shit that you normally wouldn't do with your mates. That too.
Why was trannies the only derogatory term you used there? That's a bit weird.
Are you accusing me of being transphobic? I wrote in 'trannies' in mind that the inverted commas tell you I'm imitating somebody else's point of view. If it really bothers you I can change black to 'nigger' or 'trannies' to transsexuals.
Well that was a nice ending.
Honestly don't see the point of gender segregated scouting though. Had girls in my troupe and it worked out fine.
Outdated values.

Not really, I see a lot of lively and decent debates on FP (I do also see semantics and strawmanning but whatever). Just these 2 people are being silly.
With the successful crowdfund, all I can say is this; I hope that miserable old hag is fucking pissed.
I love seeing people like this just get the BIGGEST diarrhea storm rained all over them.
