That's not the exact lines what are you talking about [editline]28th June 2015[/editline] This blog has a good breakdown of that cover. edit: also earlier critique from the same blog
the butt lines themselves are pretty much spot on besides a slight bit more rounding out and a bit more buttclevage on the spiderwoman cover
That's not the exact lines what are you talking about
aside from the curve of the spine the poses and angles are nearly identical
Sources are important
After a bit of research it turns out the picture I already posted is the original the guy took inspiration from [t]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2yEA6L06bhc/VA5SFZeWuKI/AAAAAAAAAPw/QBQxaWaGO5g/s1600/spiderman%2Bvs%2Bspiderwoman.jpg[/t]
DC is especially "dated". Not that that is a bad thing at all. Hell, Superman stems all the way back to the 1930's, and you can still tell even today. He's a very 30's man.
I like that they've kept Metropolis looking like a 1930's city in most of the comics.
aside from the curve of the spine the poses and angles are nearly identical
They're not. They're similar but hardly identical.
If we're gonna talk about spider-woman's ass then I might as well post this and get the debate over with
They're not. They're similar but hardly identical.
they're certainly similar enough that I don't see what objective measure could be used to call one wrong and the other fine
What I'm taking away from this is that everyone, male and female, are much more critical of women.
What I'm taking away from this is that everyone, male and female, are much more critical of women.
we want women to have more representation in comic books, so let's criticize their appearance every single time they appear and raise a ruckus every time they're shown doing something we don't like
we want women to have more representation in comic books, so let's criticize their appearance every single time they appear and raise a ruckus every time they're shown doing something we don't like
And the funny part is, the ruckus is caused by people who don't and never will actually read comics. Just like most videogame crap people pull, see new Deus Ex controversy.
And the funny part is, the ruckus is caused by people who don't and never will actually read comics. Just like most videogame crap people pull, see new Deus Ex controversy.
The best example was The Phantom Pain where some people threw a huge fit over Quiet's design and then admitted to have never played MGS 2 when Raiden was brought up as a comparison.
there are plenty of people who find the snake woman from the new Xcom sexy so yes
Represent. But yeah. /tg/ was monster girl heaven before the janitor went insane and pushed everything to /d/.
The best example was The Phantom Pain where some people threw a huge fit over Quiet's design and then admitted to have never played MGS 2 when Raiden was brought up as a comparison.
Raiden has hands down the best ass in the whole MG series.
Please tell me which woman is more capable of punching a bad guy in the face [editline]28th June 2015[/editline]
Raiden has hands down the best ass in the whole MG series.
No this is categorically wrong. Snake has the best ass.
Raiden has hands down the best ass in the whole MG series.
Actually, that's objectively Solid Snake. Kojima ordered his team of modellers to give Snake a better, rounder ass than Raiden because he was afraid people would call him a boy lover if Raiden had a better butt. I wish I was joking. [editline]28th June 2015[/editline]
Please tell me which woman is more capable of punching a bad guy in the face
Both of them because they're both real while Spider Woman does not fucking exist therefore she can't physically hurt a human being.
Please tell me which woman is more capable of punching a bad guy in the face
They're both equally hot in a different way though? Such sexualization
Please tell me which woman is more capable of punching a bad guy in the face
is the point here supposed to be that one of these people is more sexualized than the other, cause I think they're both pretty sexy
Raiden has hands down the best ass in the whole MG series.
Sorry I can't hear you over Jetstream Sam's glorious buttocks.
Represent. But yeah. /tg/ was monster girl heaven before the janitor went insane and pushed everything to /d/.
remember all the wraith threads when Evolve came out? human sexuality is nothing if not flexible
The notion that something can't be criticized because it's not real is really weird.
The notion that something can't be criticized because it's not real is really weird.
there's a difference between "you can't criticize fictional things" and "you can't criticize the logic of fictional things that don't break the internal story logic of their universe"
we want women to have more representation in comic books, so let's criticize their appearance every single time they appear and raise a ruckus every time they're shown doing something we don't like
All female characters must represent all women everywhere. Therefore it's impossible to create a character to live up to impossible expectations. Remember the controversy where people were upset that Batgirl was portrayed as weak and helpless? People fucking went nuts with bullshit arguments like "You'd never see Batman in a situation like that", to which people had to point out that Batman had been in that exact situation before and no one gave a fuck. All this bitching is done by people who can't see characters as characters and instead see them as representations of whatever sex or gender or race the character happens to be.
The notion that something can't be criticized because it's not real is really weird.
Criticism is fine. Vapid posts with two pictures of women and "Who's more capable of punching you" isn't criticism, it's pointless noise.
is the point here supposed to be that one of these people is more sexualized than the other, cause I think they're both pretty sexy
You know the difference is that one is an athlete being an athlete and the other is a model being a model, I can't believe that we can objectify people that way. I think its important to remember that Spiderman and women both have impossible bodies and impossible abilities that simply don't and can't be applied to real life. But the bodies of these two women are real, they are real people, it's a different story altogether.
remember all the wraith threads when Evolve came out? human sexuality is nothing if not flexible
There is a Humanity, Fuck Yea copypasta that floats around about how it is mankind's destiny to travel the stars and fuck every sentient alien species
There is a Humanity, Fuck Yea copypasta that floats around about how it is mankind's destiny to travel the stars and fuck every sentient alien species
That's Mass Effect's plot right there.
Please tell me which woman is more capable of punching a bad guy in the face
What is the point that you're trying to prove? I don't understand.
What is the point that you're trying to prove? I don't understand.
I don't think he knows either, hell the bottom one reminds me more of female superheroes than the top one.
