Japan is a pretty cool guy, eh allows CP and doesn't afraid of anything There's two sides to this. Good side: Allowing CP and crap in Japan keeps pedophiles off the street Bad side: Children can be victims to molestation and whatnot by predators out to get pictures.
Oh you mean SA as country, I thought he meant SA as part of the continent.
Massive inequalities between rich and poor make that development mean nothing.
Its means for a stable government and a country that isn't plagued by civil war and genocide.
SA is probably the most civilized country in Africa.
yeah but it's still africa being the most civilized country in africa isn't very hard very low standard
Haha, that's dumb.
yeah but it's still africa being the most civilized country in africa isn't very hard very low standard
What? South Africa pretty much a European country.
I honestly can't say that this is suprising at all
It's also important to note that their definition of child pornography is different. Their age of consent ranges from 13-18. That's pretty much jailbait in the rest of the world, hence, their move on "child pornography" could be included within that age range as well.
The real deal? What the shit.
yeah but it's still africa being the most civilized country in africa isn't very hard very low standard
your chauvinism is showing
Japan: Yes we are pedophiles. Why hide the truth? I am.
No, here's how it goes: Yes, we are pedophile. Why hide truth? And mods, don't ban me. It's just a joke.
No, here's how it goes: Yes, we are pedophile. Why hide truth? And mods, don't ban me. It's just a joke.
We are pedophile.
Brb, going to Japan.
"well hey guys if they can jerk it to child porn they won't go out and victimize children!" Rethink this. If Child Porn is legal, then children are still being victimized by the people who take the pictures and videos. Don't talk like this helps the children at all.
But really, it doesn't really matter. By that thinking, if they ban it people will go out and rape more, on the other hand making it legal means the number of people that actually go out and do it to take pictures/video will increase. Doesn't change either way. At least this way, as someone else said, you'd have less of a chance of being fucked by the dick of the law.
:wtc: I'm all for freedom of expression, but goddamn, allowing CP is really pushing it.
It was already legal http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_rap_percap-crime-rapes-per-capita Japan has a lower rape rate than the U.S. most likely because there was less laws on porn.
i agree, correlation most definitely does equal causation [editline]03:46PM[/editline] in japan, child pornography is legal, and people are healthier in Japan than in the US child pornography = better health
i agree, correlation most definitely does equal causation [editline]03:46PM[/editline] in japan, child pornography is legal, and people are healthier in Japan than in the US child pornography = better health
Yes, your logic is astounding. :bravo:
Could explain their non-existent birth rate, oh Japan, you crazy.
I think that can be more associated with the fact that Japan is overpopulated and they have that "One kid per family bonus" thing going on.
A child is still be exploited and hurt regardless. If someone is deranged enough to go out and rape a child being able to masturbate to child pornography is not going to stop them or could very well have the reverse effect and encourage it.
It's still illegal to produce CP.
Wait, so it is the possession of real CP they allow for? WHAT THE FUCK?! Hentai CP makes more sense as an action deterrent. But allowing real one is basically encouragement for its creation.
Wait, are we talking about like, hentai kind of CP or like, the real deal.
Can someone clarify this point. I really want to know if Loli's being banned or actual children. [editline]07:26PM[/editline] I mean if Loli's getting banned then it's OK. But I will throw a fit if I can no longer view pictures of little girls.
breaking news: Japan receives explosion of many Americans seeking asylum. They arrived only with a laptop, some kleenex and a some lube.
Hmm... Seems like we need to remind them of 1945.
Hmm... Seems like we need to remind them of 1945.
yes let's threaten to nuke a close ally of the western world because they allow for the viewing of underage porn that is still in circulation as to prevent framing mostly harmless individuals, despite the fact that actual underage sex is still illegal flawless plan a++++ will read again
It's still illegal to produce CP.
By keeping it legal to posses it they are creating a larger market and demand for it will go up. This law has no logic.
The article is a bit misleading, it makes it sound like Child Pornography is very much legal in Japan. The only thing about CP in Japan that is legal is the sole possession of it. It's illegal to produce and it's illegal to distribute in any form. The point is to prevent any kind of incentive to make money by producing it, selling it or distributing it online, but the sole possession of it won't get you in prison. However, it's also illegal to possess CP if it's there to be sold or distributed. It's the same kind of logic applied to prostitution in countries where it's illegal to sell but legal to buy.
By keeping it legal to posses it they are creating a larger market and demand for it will go up. This law has no logic.
This is probably true. There's a huge market for magazines with pictures of so-called "Junior Idols" over here, which is basically CP with no explicit nudity, so there's obviously demand. There's also tons of drawn ("simulated") CP going around, which is legal regardless of nudity (although some few obscure censorship laws are in effect).
Oh, fuck you Japan.
Time to move to japan. :v: *Reads few post above* Dang it.

It might as well not be censored at all.

Isn't showing genitalia illegal in japan? And isn't that what spawned the horrible tentacle rape subgenre
