I actually like the look of these cars. I look forward to seeing them on the week of Halloween when I'm down in Detroit.
I hope when corporations take complete control of Detroit, one of them builds this:
this is neeat
I can imagine Detroit being run by one big single corporation. Isn't that the backstory to a video game or something?
Detroit, MI confirmed for next Saints Row location
Detroit, MI confirmed for next Saints Row location
they already had that for 2 games it's called Stilwater
The thought of corporations controlling more than they currently do frightens me.
These were really needed, the old police cars had paint just chipping off and smoking like like freight trains. They were on their last legs(wheels)
And they had so few functioning cars that you would probably be better off calling a pizza place and asking them for help, they'd get there faster
yes, lets take the last shred of power out of the hands of the people for-profit population centers could never go wrong
Profit always seems to be a great motivator, and if the cities made profit from giving good services...it could work.
It is better then no emergency vehicles, right guys? ..... right?....Guys?

These arent corporate owned vehicles btw. They were donated to the city from corporations. Sexy cars though.
"We're sorry, but we can't send an ambulance your way if you haven't paid the ambulance service fee. Thank you and have a nice day."
What are taxes? They could get all their revenue from taxes and the charges of the services themselves.
I'm at this point secretly hoping that Elon Musk is buying out detroit slowly just for the purpose of making it so Robocop and/or DX:HR comes true And he basically turns it into his kingdom he has full control over (on that note wouldn't it be rad if they brought back car manufacturing to detroit via tesla)
they look more like nascars to me than actual police vehicles.
That's because NASCAR rules state that all competing vehicles have to look like a real world car, and it just so happens that the types of cars commonly used in NASCAR and the types of cars police departments reach for first coincide.
Awesome, now they just need cops to drive them.
The thought of corporations controlling more than they currently do frightens me.
I'm tempted to say that it would be an interesting experiment to perform, seeing how well a city owned entirely by US corporations can be run; but that sort of thing shouldn't be tested on a large scale right off the bat, and especially not if not all the participants are willing.
