"They mocked us, they made fun of us": Sanders surrogates recall meeting with smug Clinton staffers
Well the DNC is a private organization, so that collusion wasn't really illegal and is much easier to accomplish.
I know what you mean, but they are supposed to be impartial during the process, though.
Whatever you guys do, don't let a Clinton run for president again and for humanity's sake get the Democratic party reformed.
It's not even that she lost "hard". She won the popular vote by almost 3 million votes. She campaigned horribly and ignored crucial states, sure, but the horribly outdated and worthless winner takes all system our electoral college runs on definitely didnt help.
She completely lost former 'blue wall' rust belt states negatively affected by globalization, which she arrogantly refused to campaign much in, underscoring the sense of entitlement she demonstrated to the entire presidency. She thought they would swallow her neoliberal views and corporate sponsors, and she and the democratic party thought they could get away with such by pandering to identity politics instead of working people like bernie did. So Wisconsin, for example, went to bernie and then to trump. Part of Obama's appeal was to the white working class, which came out for him far more than it ever would for her. Bill, widely seen as a working man's candidate (even though he really wasn't), saw this shit coming
Lansing, it turns out, was not a one-off incident for Bill Clinton. It certainly was not a first for him on the campaign trail.
His comments in Michigan marked the last leg of a lonely, one-man war he launched earlier in the election to appeal to working-class and white rural voters, whom senior Clinton staffers reportedly told him were not worth the time or effort.
In the final days of the 2016 election,•Hillary Clinton•and her team of proxies stuck to three key talking points: That she has the resume to be president, that it would be progressive to vote for a woman and that•Donald Trumpis unfit to lead.
The democrats are run by the worst kind of elitists, and this election exposed the kind of disdain and snobbery they hold towards working class people. They clearly see them as a rot in their democracy, not caring enough about identity politics and keeping america globally competitive (in the eyes of corporate sponsors), of which the two are intertwined
Don't you mean "fuck the DNC" for thinking Hillary actually could ride on her husbands fame with low effort and thus threw Sanders by the wayside?
At-least Bernie put some legit amount of effort into it...
Unfortunately, the youngest generation tends to not vote because they're either too busy or uncaring. Hell, unless suddenly everyone in my state decides to go democrat in 4 years, I don't think I'm gonna bother because we're solid red as a state and my vote is literally pointless.
[editline]a[/editline]
tl;dr a good portion of Bernie's supporters didn't actually vote for him.
You know I kept fucking defending her, but it turns out some of what GOP and Trump voters said was CORRECT I had to dig through pre-2007 media. And yet she keeps changing the story up to now.

Not just riding on the Clinton name.
She tried riding on Obama's coattails by promising to be his third term, tried taking credit just for being present when Bin Laden was killed and trying to say Obamacare was originally called Hillarycare.
pretty please DNC give us Tulsi Gabbard 2020, Warren can be as much of a idiot in her own way and unlike her Gabbard actually stood up for Sanders

So the country voted for Trump instead?
So the country voted for Trump instead?
Ala the other thread, I'm pretty sure Conscript doesn't genuinely believe Trump will be better for the working class but at least he campaigned on that angle hard in key electoral states

To be fair I'm sure Secretary of State would have a lot of influence in reaching the decision to kill bin Laden.
I believe there smugness also hurted them alot
I hope no one akin to Clinton runs in 2020, and that no one akin to her, Trump, or the GOP line up is in the 2024 election. Clinton shouldn't have run after her 2008 attempt, but did and caused the GOP to take over for 2 to 4 years.
Shame we won't get that. We'll get more of the same corrupt smug shits Clinton is such a textbook example of in 2020 and 2024. And 2028. And 2032, and so on, so forth, until we all bathe in Atom's Fiery Brilliance in 2077.
I still don't know Clinton's position on anything really. She'd probably be a decent president, but I really don't know why she wanted the job.
Literally saw this shit with my own eyes in Manchester NH during the Democratic primary when all three candidates were speaking at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner.
I was in a crowd of Bernie supporters holding signs outside the hotel where the candidates and DNC leadership were in attendance. There were maybe a thousand people in the plaza, mostly Bernie supporters, and we were marching and chanting with megaphones while the Hillary supporters just kind of stood around all afternoon. I guess this rubbed the DNC the wrong way because they brought in a massive outdoor PA system and just blasted Katy Perry nonstop. They were literally trying to drown us out.
I honestly can't imagine a more perfect analogy for this campaign.
Well the DNC is a private organization, so that collusion wasn't really illegal and is much easier to accomplish.
It does not have to be illegal outright to be corruption or collusion.
To put things in perspective though; in europe its illegal to hold rigged elections even if for some ty ing dumb as a raffle. i doubt hillary would have gone to jail over it since shes part of the untouchables.

She wanted it because it was her turn. Part of the issue with her is that her opinion changed to suit the situation/bribe money and she had no real positions of her own, or at least thats the appearance she gave off.

Hopefully she takes this as a hint and realizes "You lost to Trump. TRUMP. Let that sink in for a minute".

This is true. She was pretty standard in her campaign and didn't have much of anything to say that resonated with a lot of people until her campaign realized "Holy fuck, Sanders is gaining with his platform and ideas, we should parrot that!"
And parrot they did.
