I'm just giving an example, neither game needs to be boycotted at all, they just need to grow some balls.
It's not a GTA without idiots trying to blame it in all kinds of sins.
Thing is, it gives higher sales.

I've always thought of Rockstar as the ones who don't give a fuck about falling in line with what most people think is acceptable or normal to portray. I'm not sure if that's true but looking at their track record it's definitely the impression I get.

it really pisses me off when a game forces me to kill animals. partially because it's become a really annoying trend, but mostly because I just don't want to do it, for the same reason I wouldn't want a game to force me to rape someone. from what I can tell, the animals in GTA V are a part of the environment like anything else and will react to the players interactions, so I really don't understand how you can be stupid enough to be offended by this. the animals are there, don't harm them if you don't want to.
I went to a friend of mines place today to play some GTAV.
On my way home I might have run over a mouse.
Not too sure if I did, but I felt bad nonetheless, although I didn't hear any sound (on a motorcycle and riding open visor).

you get pissed off when you have to "kill" something that... doesn't actually exist? doing something in real life VS virtually are two insanely different things.
like I understand the rape part but why are people such fruits about this shit. Every fucking game with an animal someone gets pissed off.
Let's go ahead and boycott hunting games outrages too
If they weren't a bunch of attention seeking clowns using GTA V as a way to become popular they would've boycotted Red Dead, Far Cry or any other games that involve the death of animals.
Even then they wouldn't get very far, animal rights groups such as this can't be taken seriously anymore since PETA.
