Spraying people with water in below zero temperatures is a fantastic way to seriously injure or kill someone via hypothermia. Pretty scary that you're a cop.
Pretty scary that none of the mentioned is neither a civil nor human rights violations... Thats super spooky.

I guess it's one of those obvious don't spray people with water in fucking winter.
I don't know if it's a wrong way to see it, but the way I see it, people shouldn't be putting themselves in the position to be sprayed with water. I mean you can see the water cannons. It's not like the the po po rolled in at night and hosed down sleeping protestors in their tents. You see cops at a barricade with water cannons, and you're shocked when you get doused? Maybe you know, don't poke the shark. [editline]27th November 2016[/editline] It's not even a fact of whether or not they had them in the first place. If you see police ready and willing to commit what you might think is brutality, don't provoke that brutality to prove your point.

That said, water cannons in sub-freezing temperatures is nearly attempted murder. That said, the actions of the police don't invalidate the legitimacy of the pipeline.
I'm pretty sure you can get hypothermia even at 40 degrees F. [editline]27th November 2016[/editline] Wait, I see what you're replying too. Still, doesn't take much to get hypothermia.
I'm not justifying it, I'm just trying to prevent people from exaggerating a situation. Dont want to get sprayed with water in freezing temps? Dont attack a police barricade.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers undoubtedly proves that. And that happened months ago.
I think everyone is aware that I'm a huge shill for EV's and clean technology, but that doesn't mean you get free range on land that doesn't legally belong to you. I don't know the whole situation with this but it sounds like a lot of it can be narrowed down to protesters trespassing on land and then acting shocked when they're beaten off it with force. Fess up and say you're in a legal grey area because you're fighting for what you think is just, and quit acting like a victim when you're subjugated by the people whose job it is to keep you away from the place you're not supposed to be.
Pretty scary that none of the mentioned is neither a civil nor human rights violations... Thats super spooky.
Potentially killing somebody isn't a human rights violation? You know, the right to not be killed? Color me surprised.
Potentially killing somebody isn't a human rights violation? You know, the right to not be killed? Color me surprised.
If the potential for being killed is suddenly the basis for a human rights violation then all automobiles should be banned, knives removed, guns destroyed, and contact sports outlawed
Potentially killing somebody isn't a human rights violation? You know, the right to not be killed? Color me surprised.
I'd like to hear your plan of action to disperse a rioting crowd that results in no possibility of death.
Potentially killing somebody isn't a human rights violation? You know, the right to not be killed? Color me surprised.
By this logic, attacking a police barricade and throwing rocks is a human rights violation.
And the snow has come. About 14" today here in Bismarck-Mandan, and we are suppose to get some more through out the next few days. Welcome to North Dakota, protesters. Mini-Stalingrad.
