What did Romney make up?
he flat out lied about his tax plan
[t]http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/579708_4508581029965_1310794511_n.jpg[/t] I hope this won't be taken the wrong way, but it could prove useful. :v:
i did this with one of my roommates needless to say I got pretty damn drunk :v: edit: we had to ignore the "third person" one because we would have died of alcohol poisoning
he flat out lied about his tax plan
How so? And doesn't anyone around here sleep?
I have a feeling the media will try to play up the fact that this is a close race because it will make them more money. Not that I'll vote for romney. After that comment on the embassy I have nothing but contempt for him. [editline]3rd October 2012[/editline] Also I think the format they used for debate blows.
Would be interesting if they do. If media says it's a close race, chances are bigger that it will be a close race. If you're considering not voting because your candidate is either a surefire winner or a doomed looser, or you're sort of on the fence on who to vote on, the illusion of a close race might actually get your lazy ass off the seat to make it a close race. Or the threat of Romney winning can get a million extra Obama-voters to actually vote instead of assuming he'll win, making it a total victory. That'd be great.
How so? And doesn't anyone around here sleep?
he's flat out stated that he would cut marginal tax rates by 20% which would be a ~$5 trillion tax cut~
haha stupid obongo using a teleprompter #nobama
how does this change the point whatsoever? Romney uses a teleprompter? Okay, does that mean it's suddenly acceptable because both party officials are? Romney shined tonight in his ability to lead the debate and remain on the offensive. I'm not saying a teleprompter makes a politician a scumbag, I just think that it's bad practice. It usually leads to an inability to emphasize properly and seems to encourage lazy reiteration. Obama's never really been that great a speaker regardless of the tool and that showed tonight. He is nothing compared to our greatest orators and I'd think most would agree regardless of their political affiliation.
Reagan used a teleprompter you doofus
he's flat out stated that he would cut marginal tax rates by 20% which would be a ~$5 trillion tax cut~
He also said the this tax plan would be "revenue-neutral"
Reagan used a teleprompter you doofus
Not in every fucking speech. Especially the important memorable ones, including the one I posted.
Again, I bring up a previously mentioned point: Does sleep mean nothing to you guys?
Not in every fucking speech. Especially the important memorable ones, including the one I posted.
Obama has done excellent speeches without a teleprompter. [editline]4th October 2012[/editline] but the whole "obongo uses a teleprompter omg guys!" is pretty easy to spot dog whistle racism from the right so i'm actually done discussing this with you [editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
Again, I bring up a previously mentioned point: Does sleep mean nothing to you guys?
hey guy there's a thing called timezones
hey guy there's a thing called timezones
I don't know about everyone else but I've got a 12 hour workday in 6 hours and I'm just catching up on what even went down tonight all I see is people nitpicking unimportant things like the sudden invention of teleprompters, complaining about eye contact like they used to when they made love, and talk of how romney won because he wouldn't shut up in place of giving compelling information in some sort of debate-oriented fashion am I missing any total surprises here
how does this change the point whatsoever? Romney uses a teleprompter? Okay, does that mean it's suddenly acceptable because both party officials are? Reagan acted like everyone's grandfather and told funny stories who cares about policy best President all years
so whats the big fuss now? oh shit candidates using TELEPROMPTERS ITS THE END OF THE WORLD. grab your PHDs, and GEDs facepunch its time to shit-plast on whomever differs from your political opinion. "I like Romney" "WHAT A FUCKING RETARD" Romney was especially prepared for today, it was clear as daylight.
obongo uses a teleprompter omg guys!" is pretty easy to spot dog whistle racism from the right so i'm actually done discussing this with you
Are you fucking serious? I can't believe you would actually say this. Of course you're done discussing because you never have anything of substance to discuss. You literally bring nothing to the table Lazor. You obviously have no expertise or even hobbyist knowledge in politics, economics, or ethics so why do I even waste my time with you? Your statement really illuminates how much of a sycophant of political thought you really are. You would be nothing without political commentary from the people around you because all you do is reiterate other people's views with a larger dose of ignorance and stupidity. You try to make other people's points but you don't understand their reasoning so everything that comes out of your mouth is just a cesspool of egregious and hollow slop. So no, you shut the fuck up. You can have any political opinion you want but to be outright negligently ignorant like this is inexcusable and honestly makes me embarrassed for you and the society which raised you. [editline]3rd October 2012[/editline]
Does sleep mean nothing to you guys?
on my grind cousin
if 300 million people vote in the US election this year, your vote will affect the polls by 0.0000003% your voice matters!
dude lay off the meth or w/e
"There you go again"
Well I can see you're already right about him bringing absolutely nothing to the table other than middleschool remarks.
Well your title is relevant, he doesn't even have to take the effort to make that attack on you himself.
:v: I just realized how relevant my title was to, ain't that great. All things aside I felt that Obama didn't really put up an offensive during the debate.
:v: I just realized how relevant my title was to, ain't that great. All things aside I felt that Obama didn't really put up an offensive during the debate.
But I would hardly say that Romney talking over the moderator and simply responding to what Obama was saying with "no, that isn't right" being prepared.
if 300 million people vote in the US election this year, your vote will affect the polls by 0.0000003% your voice matters!
um even if your conclusion is correct all of the steps leading up to it are just flat out not how voting in the US works
Both sides interrupted the moderator(feel sorry for the guy, really), and Obama just seemed to fall apart half way between. Romney layed down the offensive pretty rough, and in the end... Did it help? I haven't bothered to check the polls.
Of course you're done discussing because you never have anything of substance to discuss.
this accusation is hilarious given how many times you've brought up Obama's teleprompter [editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
Both sides interrupted the moderator(feel sorry for the guy, really), and Obama just seemed to fall apart half way between.
this accusation is hilarious given how many times you've brought up Obama's teleprompter
Uh once in my entire history on this forum? Yet another one of your baseless accusations. Speaking of which, every time I see you post I'll just keep in mind that you once accused me of racism for mentioning a teleprompter.
Lazor how do you seriously draw up the conclusion that he's a racist for mentioning a teleprompter?
