Does anyone else think that we have more of a spending problem rather than a revenue problem?
no it's definitely more of a revenue problem
Romney really didn't seem all that bad in the debate, beyond the hatred of healthcare.
Does anyone else think that we have more of a spending problem rather than a revenue problem?
Taxes are lower than they have been for 30-50 years, and are among the lowest in industrialized nations.
Enjoy your mormocrasy. Just remember his stances on civil liberties and bedrooms before you vote.
Which one(s)? :v:
Romney really didn't seem all that bad in the debate, beyond the hatred of healthcare.
and 47% of America.
Well my with my father included, i now know 6 people that are going to vote for Romney over not voting at all and undecided. My dad's has always been undecided and independent and only votes for who he thinks can actually change something or doesn't vote at all. I honestly am up in the air with mine. Like it or not Romney came out appearing as the stronger candidate tonight. He showed objectiveness and charisma. That being said... a debate win does not equal a strong candidate, only the projection of one. Romney has good points and so does Obama... to say otherwise is dumb in my opinion. Like that picture that was posted pages back said, no matter what one side just loses harder then the other or something like that. I honestly feel both of them would be a fine choice for president, not the best, not the worst. Romney will get into office and im sure, just like every other president be advised not to do anything crazy. Just how running a country works. Then again... what the hell do I know? haha Just my two cents.
Like it or not Romney came out appearing as the stronger candidate tonight.
What does it help that he appears the strongest, when what he wants to do is obstructive, destructive and hateful in nature? That's seriously retarded. He may look stronger, but he's obviously narrowminded and only serving the elite. Do us all a favor, if you can't follow the election enough to know enough to vote responsibly, then please don't whore your vote out like this at the last minute. You're doing damage. Both splash and flak damage by casting a dumbshit vote.

I know many people's views are blocked by anger at choosing X over Y when it comes to presidents but please read before going off about people whoring their vote. Hes up in the air because both sides bring up good points. Now that both sides bring up good points do we as a country want to keep going with Obama and the things people strike him for (tripled gas prices, doubled our national debt) Or Go with a change and see what Romney can actually do to help this country(or hurt it).
If you don't know who to vote for, vote for Gary Johnson. If you hate both candidates, vote for Gary Johnson.
If you don't know who to vote for, vote for Gary Johnson. If you hate both candidates, vote for Gary Johnson.
Yeah but he probably has no chance of winning.
Does anyone else think that we have more of a spending problem rather than a revenue problem?
only for things like the military everything else no tbh, austerity actually makes things worse during bad economic times
Wow. I appreciate the responses. We may have some of the lowest income taxes, but the highest corporate tax rate. I agree with Romney that job growth will lead to revenue growth with new income to tax, but to put more burden on the people with jobs now seems detrimental to economic growth. Just my two rapidly devaluing cents.

Let's kill the current president for a continuing cycle of death started by bush. Ace logic there bro. Do the whole world a favour and don't vote on that basis at least. Taking your chances with romney is like tapdancing on the face of an alligator. He's going to get you killed...
only for things like the military everything else no tbh, austerity actually makes things worse during bad economic times
The US military budget could do with a serious cut, at least $100 billion any way, put it into things that matter.
Yeah but he probably has no chance of winning.
I thought the point of a democracy was to vote for who you wanted. And I'm spreading the word to make his position stronger.
I thought the point of a democracy was to vote for who you wanted. And I'm spreading the word to make his position stronger.
Yeah but he'll never get voted in ever so you're just throwing your vote away. So far I'd say Obama has been the strongest candidate, even if he doesn't quite have Romney's charisma.

Obama was talking about a teacher he met in Las Vegas about how they're reading 10 year old books and he wants to do something to FIX that? umm he had 4 years to FIX that. Obama isn't really helping us get a balanced budget. you need to look at the facts and stop attacking logical statements because you can't contribute much of an insight of your own opinion.

At least I can complain about either one of the main candidates that gets voted in.
you need to look at the facts and stop attacking logical statements because you can't contribute much of an insight of your own opinion.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAH THIS IS FUCKING GOLD!!! YOU need to listen to logic and facts and stop living in some dream world. Who do you think STOPPED Obama from doing anyting? Just don't vote, oh wow... The republicans were close to crashing your whole country last year and state they're planning to do the same again this year, just to oust Obama from power and try to spin him as the one who crashed the public sector. They won't agree to anything. They're being little whores with "gib me or i crash country!". I'm not even joking Check the press from last year July. They want power whatever the cost. Nothing will ever be enough for sub-intelligent nitwits like you. It's painfully obvious that the republicans are either heading for feudal-Anarchy or Theocrasy in order to assert control over the masses with use of "baby Jesus" and "socialism is Saddam Hussein!" Not only that, but Romney has repeatedly shown himself to be an inconsiderate cunt who wants people who don't or can't adhere to his religious doctrines to suffer. Lesbians, gays, Minorities, Handicapped. He's a cold-hearted fuck if not a total psychopath. The republican party has become all fucked-shit insane these past 4 years. What happened? On the other hand, Obama wants everyone to be equal among eachother (and in case of retards, before god) and at least he seems to mean that. It's a cycle started by bush and one they've been positively chokeholding Obama from fixing. Don't fucking vote dude. THis is fucking dumb. Either follow this all or don't vote. You're more of a danger to society than you think. You're being insanely irresponsible. You're endorsing oppression of US citizens. I mean, i can get that you'd want to opress everyone else, but US citizens? Human rights will get even further out of American range than it's ever been. This isn't even a case of lesser of two evils anymore, because Romney makes Obama seem like a fucking saint. Especially if one remembers his inaction was in want for cross-party cooperation and unity. But what kind of sick socialist fucknigger wants a unified america.
It's either that or not vote at all. At least I can complain about either one of the main candidates that gets voted in.
Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with Bomino, even if that was an asshole way of putting it. Probably better if you just don't vote.
Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with Bomino, even if that was an asshole way of putting it. Probably better if you just don't vote.
I'm sorry. I get carried away when borderline psycho dictator material gets a vote because *shallow dumbfuck reason* I'm really sorry.
Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with Bomino, even if that was an asshole way of putting it. Probably better if you just don't vote.
I have my rights! Attica! Attica!!!! [editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
I'm sorry. Go figure.
I have my rights! Attica! Attica!!!!
Rights under responsibility. That's something we really need more Americans to understand. You've got to be able to stand by your actions or don't do it at all. Would you stand by Romney as he takes away healthcare for seniors and Juniors? As he exports more americna jobs overseas? As he passes Mormon horseshit into american law, undoes all the progress on Homosexual and finally possibly manages to make America a for real Christian country with no room for deviants? [editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
People think Obama's a socialist who will become a dictator. Go figure.
Right. You're a lost cause. You'll ignore anything that doesn't support your view, wouldn't you? Right to vote: suspended. Right to breathe: under deliberation. Let me put it this way. You're exactly the kind of voter both candidates want at this point and you're exactly the kind of voter America doesn't need right now. You at LEAST need GOOD reasons to vote for Romney or Saddam Obama and you ain't got any. "X didn't do shit, Y sounded nicer" isn't a good enough reason. You're kicking everyone who votes with their mind square in the balls and you're raping America.
I'm sorry. I get carried away when borderline psycho dictator material gets a vote because *shallow dumbfuck reason* I'm really sorry.
All I've seen you post is "If you like the other candidate, you don't know how to vote responsibly and shouldn't vote at all."

I don't care how cool you sound, resolve and confidence is all an intentional poker face to all the bluffs he's throwing out. I want policies explained with numbers and statistics, not just end numbers result number flung around with no representation of where it comes from.
mitt romney thinks that a convicted con man found the word of god on a series of golden plates in a forest and then dictated them out of a hat i don't care how charismatic he is
Ryan and his P90X physique being an 'selling point' I've seen mentioned by pro-romney women is just astounding.
Well I mean. I ain't gay. But. You know. I wouldn't say no to that.
Not much he can do when the republicans keep blocking him.
Remember the two year democratic supermajority where they could do whatever the fuck they wanted? Then they did, then they got voted out of office? I do.
