I just tried using Axe body spray on a match to see this for my self... it put the match out... I fail to see how this is dangerous.
Don't put the nozzle so close to the match, keep it about 2 inches or so back from the flame. Let's just say i used to have friends that'd do this shit all of the time, one of them had so many aerosol burn marks on his light blue t-shirt that he was suspended for it. He was like a light blue cheetah/leopard.

Shame too because axe smells like shit, so now I have this bottle of shit smelling crap that I can't even light on fire.
This just sounds like kids dicking around with body spray and lighters, not running around with flamethrowers going all vietnam on other kids as a form of bullying.
something like this actually happened in my hometown a few years ago, kids messing around with a gas tank. one of them ended up on fire and all the other kids ran. he was air lifted to a big hospital for emergency treatment and i think he was there for a couple months
oh my god that kid needs to [thumb]http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss166/SebMcMeb123456/Trolling/FUCK-OFF.png[/thumb]
You can light parts of your body on fire mostly safely if you use a low energy fuel source like isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol burns off within a few seconds and the remaining water protects your skin/hair from damage. If it becomes uncomfortable before then, you can just do a quick shake to put it out. I've lit my hand and foot on fire using 91% isopropyl alcohol, it's good as a party trick to freak people out :v: But it's totally not cool to light someone else on fire, especially if they were using a flammable substance with more energy in it that can cause damage.
Mmmph, mmph mmmph mmph mmph? Mmmmph. EDIT Aw, 'cmon, nobody got the pyro reference? D:

Also uhh, be careful with that shit, when you are done spraying immediately separate the can from the lighter because there's the off chance the flame will travel back into the can and blow it up.

Sealed aerosol cans don't have oxygen in them and you can't have combustion without oxygen. It'd be a different story with like a glass bottle of cologne with a twist cap, though it'd still be unlikely as the heavier fumes would displace oxygen.

When I was on holiday a few years ago on a Greek island they were doing some fire dancing and they got some of whatever they use for setting the place on fire on someone's leg and they commented that they could not feel any burning but just a cold feeling.
They just wanted to start a flame in his heart

This all sounds insane these days, but it was pretty common (at least in Australia) to do this kind of shit way back when. I grew up with stories of my dad and his brothers etc chasing each other and throwing fireaxes back and forth, crazy stuff (his brother copped a fireaxe to the chin once and they laughed it off before going to the hospital). One story that stuck with me was how they used to run around empty school grounds with shampoo bottles full of petrol. They'd set the end of the shampoo bottle on fire, and chase each other around squeezing flaming jets of petrol at each other just for shits and giggles. I called bullshit but then I saw a pic from the 70's of them doing it... mad fucks.
I am not one for cultural stereotypes usually but honestly, I expect no less from Australia.
We get fire crazed from living so close to the sun.
do tell
During the breaks people ran around with lighters thinking it's a very good and fun idea to set peoples hair and clothes on fire. Imagine that, you're just chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and then suddenly you smell burned hair, turns out it's yours. Also, burning away the hair from the arms was a big hit.
You all sound surprised teenagers are playing with fire I knew somebody who covered his hand in lighter fluid and then had his friend set it on fire, he then panicked and slapped him in the face with a flaming hand
I've been on fire. Got 3rd degree burns. It isn't fun.
your fault though, you shouldn't need to use candles to get into the mood to fap.
What the fuck What the fucking fuck This takes the idiocy cake, they need to be put on a stick and left there, like Ivan the Terrible does
"Hey gaiz letz set dis kid on fire no way this will go wrong HUE HUE R HUER HUERH"
"hey lets make a really bad post"
I'm not even surprised, this just sounds like normal behavior for chav scum.
or you be smart and dont play with fire at all?
-smart -"rofl im such a pyro xD" pick one
Some idiot once tried to light me on fire to intimidate me. Faggot can't intimidate me like that. He's lucky he didn't get me angry.
some kid was mad dogging me for no reason so eventually one day after gym me and him were the only ones there. i forget what he said but it was something dumb like "this is you" and axe-flamethrowers a binder. i told on him and got him expelled. really only cause he was even more of a little bitch than me and i figured me kicking his ass wouldn't solve anything. but him getting sent to a school where he gets his ass kicked on a daily basis? priceless. also i could have very well ruined his life. call me a little bitch but it was so much more satisfying. it's like the difference between killing someone outright or leaving them to bleed out for a day or two. quite a very passive way to be incredibly vindictive. instead of giving the cunt what they want (ongoing conflict) just send their ass to hell instead. you don't get in trouble for it either.
For once I am amazingly glad for the snow. This kid could have been pretty seriously harmed, Jesus Wept, if shit like this carries on it could lead to some pretty serious stuff going down.
I'm all for setting kids on fire, It just doesn't sit well with me letting teenagers do it.
your fault though, you shouldn't need to use candles to get into the mood to fap.
Har. Har.
this was a craze while i was in highschool fucking shit-heads would line the walk up to the middle school down the road and set little girls hair on fire as they walked up. even Happened to me twice in year 11, fucking assholes in PE changing rooms set my hair on fire with deoderant. teachers did nothing, only stoped when i started skipping the lesson.
Shit, wow seriously? That's just horrendous. If I saw people at my school doing that, I'd have the nerve to bring in a can of AXE, light a lighter in front of it and blow it their faces. See how they like it.

Also doesn't help that the range of it is about a foot.

Besides, if they wanted to run I could just keep holding down on the sprayer and chase after them while it's still bursting flames out.
It seem's pretty exaggerated in my opinion, scary for a 10 year old i guess.
