Yeah, I like Cola. Gets you BUZZED!
These brownies don't relax you much, if not at all. Tried something similar, ment to be more powerful. Just another place-bo effect IMO.
cigarettes get a pass because they have warnings
nice to know
Anything will pass if it has the correct warnings on it. The only things that don't pass are the medications and supplements that are faux-science or instantly kill you.
Plus don't go around saying you want to legalize all drugs and then screaming and yell at alcohol and ciggerettes. While the clean forms of the other drugs would probably be safer, the damage is still there just as it is with most medication.
I dislike the use of melatonin, every time I take it to sleep I end up having over 30 completely different dreams :ohdear:
But that's listed as medicine and not hidden as a tasty treat.
Melatonin is actually regulated in Australia.
Hey guys.
These brownies contain melatonin.
Your body produces melatonin.
Now, melatonin supplements, when taken outside of this form, cause you to generally sleep. The main purpose of them is getting into a proper circadian rhythm, or sleep cycle.
In this case, these can cause you to sleep. However, they may just make you incredibly drowsy. Either way, it's not exactly the best plan to take them before driving.
And as for the "not for food use" thing, that's valid. If it wasn't, we couldn't sell gummy vitamins, or other nutritional supplements in easy to consume forms.
To actually effectively stimulate the receptors, one would need to take an inordinate amount.
Much of the "I feel so sleepy" is probably due to the placebo effect, and though it would be expected to have a more pronounced effect in some individuals.
As said before, certainly not as pronounced as taking doxylamine or diphenhydramine or what have you.
That said, just because it's not directly stimulating the receptors doesn't mean that it has no biological effects - the placebo effect is actually quite amazing in that it replicates the biological response that the brain expects to occur.
My bro died from overdosing on this shit
i'm joking, guys

True, little factoid: The analog drug laws in Australia means that most (if not all) neurotransmitters are actually illegal to possess. Australia banned brains.
Obviously he's trolling/joking.

He's said some really stupid shit before.
Based on animal models, a 75 kilogram male would need to take 25 - 75 thousand pills to have a 50% chance of dying.

Space Cakes are better.
I take melatonin pills quite regularly so I can sleep at nights, but this sounds so much better idea.
I can see mothers buying loads of these.
Who would buy these things?
Who wants to eat a brownie and fall asleep?
Maybe if it was being sold as a medication.
But being sold as a snack at 7-11?
What the fuck?
Can you OD on these?
Can you OD on these?
if you don't pass out or throw up first
it's extremely unlikely
Can you OD on these?
Not really.
At some point your body just sort of stops caring about it.
Taking a lot may fuck up your sleeping or something, but it'd be like overdosing on eating anything.
No, seriously, why the fuck would you want to eat a brownie that makes you fall asleep?
Just drink a beer or smoke some fucking weed.
I wonder if 7-11 sells these.
I'd rather buy some melatonin supplements at the pharmacy. Better yet, a small dosage of melatonin mixed with a small dose of caffeine. That might be fun.
