I live in Arkansas and attend Midland's rival school. Pretty much everyone at our school got really pissed at this and protested and shit. Pretty much a huge mess. All that resulted in the "wear purple day" around here is a couple of artsy bitches wearing it and some gay kids getting picked on more than usual.
