like this here. it's no secret that nintendo's all about the first-party exclusives. top selling games on nintendo consoles are pretty much always first part, 3rd party gets pretty shafted.
I had a lot of fun with the Wii U in the last few weeks. Nintendo Land's asymmetric multiplayer is awesome, but sadly that's about everything the Wii U is good for. I'd never buy it, because for anything other than playing with a bunch of friends every next gen console (or PC) and even current gen console is better.

It wasn't really Nintendo's fault that their third party market got crippled though, a lot of companies were trying to dump as much shovelware and PS2 ports on the wii as they could to make a quick buck.

You can't just "overclock" a system like that.
Every chip is different. Unless the chips were binned at that frequency and just underclocked for fuck knows why, it could make them unstable and crash games and apps.
Can the power supply take the extra load?

The explanation is that FP doesn't likes anyone saying mean things about "the underdog", that is in this case, the WiiU, especially when it comes from EA, which I more than half-comprehend the hate in this case, but still find that he's pretty much right.
There are way too many reasons why the WiiU didn't do well, some of which he has already said.
He should have stated this anonymously, especially for an employee that works for EA. I don't think that his opinion is invalid but it was rather a dumb thing to do, consequences will follow.

If you have people who will play it with you, Nintendo Land is awesome. Haven't played Revelations on the Wii U so I can't give you advice there, but the system has 4-5 good single player games right now that I own and am happy with.

you're forgetting the fact that he not only spoke ill of the wii u, but origin as well. again, possibly on the company's time and not his own. we don't even know if he's gone or if repercussions will happen but if EA makes any sort of comment on this issue then it's likely that yes, he did get in trouble for this, because they had to waste their own time to clarify his comments that he may or may not have made on the company's own time. i'm not saying i agree with him getting in trouble for this because as you said it's his own twitter account, but he's talking about business matters and when you're talking about a business you're heavily involved in you should try to be a little bit more professional with your comments in a space where anyone can see your comments as this may harm the company's already bad image.
