Brazilian student nurse accidentally injects patient with coffee - 'anyone can get confused'

I'd postulate that she thought she could get away with poisoning someone, and filled the syringe from the cup intentionally. She probably thought the poisoning would have a slower onset, and would be harder to detect.
I sometimes think about the small percentage of the population that are psychopaths and sociopaths when receiving medical care, and it's always concerning when you are watching a 2 cm bubble go down your IV line and they tell you that it's fine but refuse to elaborate.

It comes with the territory when you begin to study psychology.
How the fuck was a student, especially one with only 3 days of experience, let administer ANYTHING to a patient without supervision? Around here when we go to practical training, we always have a mentor nurse who we hang around with and they constantly evaluate our performance and oversee any injections and stuff we give.
Oh right, Brazil.
I hope she gets prosecuted for this, it really is too much of a fucking stupid mistake to be "confused" about.
