I'm not normally bitter but please, it's the one rare moment in our time when you need to pipe down.
I guess the systematic ignorance of a genocide of a simple farming people is a retarded political point right?
mandela was something of a socialist but never a real hardcore communist and when he wrote that he was just writing a bunch of crap by himself that wasn't meant to be like a mein kampf or the infamous communist manifesto (and obviously didn't) and in retrospect he regretted having to do anything with communism, preferring a sort of african nationalism and social democracy
If or not he was a socialist or a communist is up for debate; the fact is that he did ruin South Africa and caused genocide of the Afrikaners.
But communism is a good thing, how can it be 'dirty'?
If or not he was a socialist or a communist is up for debate; the fact is that he did ruin South Africa and caused genocide of the Afrikaners.
the SA govt. has been trying to correct the genocide against the boers, albeit it has been too little pressure in less important places but it's been more of a problem caused by the post-apartheid ANC itself and not really nelson mandela
But communism is a good thing, how can it be 'dirty'?
It must just be all for the Vietnam War...

More could have been done to stop what happened.
last time i checked the ANC was kind of a mess, so i wouldn't blame mandela for any difficulties he had in steering them in a better direction
By leading the party and being president of south africa, he made himself accountable and responsible, would Hitler not be accountable for the actions of the NSDAP, or Stalin the actions of the Communist Party?
By leading the party and being president of south africa, he made himself accountable and responsible, would Hitler not be accountable for the actions of the NSDAP, or Stalin the actions of the Communist Party?
Unless they sanctioned them, otherwise no.
Unless they sanctioned them, otherwise no.
He basically sanctioned them by taking no action against them.
But communism is a good thing, how can it be 'dirty'?
It's a good thing on paper. Humanity just has a habit of royally screwing it up every time.
Apparently he's [del]Good[/del] not in a vegetative state
Clarification on the health of former President Mandela 04 July 2013 The Presidency has noted media reports about the condition of former President Nelson Mandela and would like to make a clarification. Former President Mandela has been and remains under the care of a multi-disciplinary panel of South African medical experts drawn from the South Africa Military Health Services, the public sector, the universities and the private sector. Under this panel a team of doctors, nurses, paramedics and other health professionals attend to Madiba on a 24 hour basis.
We confirm our earlier statement released this afternoon after President Jacob Zuma visited Madiba in hospital that Madiba remains in a critical, but stable condition. The doctors deny that the former President is in a vegetative state.
Source
He played his role in the world, he was an inspiration and sadly it seems his time has come. Goodnight, Mandela.
You shouldn't assume he wants to die, stop being ignorant.
He's been a great person in this world, it's sad to see him pass but we all have to die at some point :)
You shouldn't assume he wants to die, stop being ignorant.
you shouldn't mix up his words, it was his opinion that there's no point in continuing the life support where exactly did he say "HE WANTS TO DIE HE WANTS TO DIE?" talk about assuming things for fuck sake
you shouldn't mix up his words, it was his opinion that there's no point in continuing the life support where exactly did he say "HE WANTS TO DIE HE WANTS TO DIE?" talk about assuming things for fuck sake
It's called a joke
It's called a joke
jokes are funny
If or not he was a socialist or a communist is up for debate; the fact is that he did ruin South Africa and caused genocide of the Afrikaners.
Are you seriously implying the end of Afrikaner minority rule was a bad thing? I don't know what cognitive hoops you have to go through to justify literal white-supremacist politics but it is quite disturbing that you could say something like this in earnest without considering that the salient driving force for the conflict within South Africa was, in fact, the Afrikaners being fucking retarded.
Nelson Mandela is my hero, he was held in captivity for 27 years, finally got out in about 1990 and he still hasn't reoffended.
It's a good thing on paper. Humanity just has a habit of royally screwing it up every time.
But its not good on paper.. Nelson Mandela's left wing policies may not have worked but he had good intentions.
